2017 NMC UK Decision Letter

Published

Hi Guys,

I found an old thread from 2016 but wanted to start anew so we don't have to filter through 20+ pages. I submitted my application in June and it was placed on the queue on June 21. I am still anxiously waiting for my decision letter. My 40 working days is on the 16 August. Is there anyone else that submitted this at about the same time as me that's waiting to hear back?

Also - anyone have issues with clinical practice hours in university from the US? I was short by 25 hospital hours, but I did 187 hours volunteering at a hospital while I was in school. They said to include that in my transcript of training, that it should be ok but it would still need to be assessed like everything else, which leads me to believe it should be fine, albeit still so terrified! I have my family and my boyfriend waiting on me to get there and I can't wait any longer!!

hello! Im a nurse from the Philippines and the Nmc sent an email telling me to that I should send an official letter on headed paper stating the roles, seniority and whether they supervised me directly. Do they have a format to follow or they should just state what is being asked? And also, what do they mean by a document that is written as Date Received: Re-submission? Thanks so much.

They request you to send them a detailed description of the roles of your references and their ranjs at your olace of work, clearly stating if you were under their supervision for the time you worked with them.. my guess is, your answer should be a yes.

Name of reference:

Job title:

Rank/level:

Then for the date received Re-submission, it simply means you documents were scanned again.. possibly because the ranks of your references weren't well spelt out.. but I guess ypyou should be fine. You can also pit a calll through to them to clear the air.

Hi. This is the journey of my wife with her application to UK.

Jan 18, 2018- got her DL

Submitted her DL to her agency. After 2 months of waiting, still no COS (Whittington NHS).

March 7, 2018- We decided to withdraw her application with Whittington NHS and transfer to KCH

March 22, 2018- She had her Skype interview with KCH.

March 28, 2018- Received her COS (5 days from her interview)

I guess you should call the NMC and explain this to them. You can also log into your portal to see if you can upload this document. Best of luck

Hollo there, I am waiting on NMC decision letter can someone help me how to follow up

My email is: [email protected]

I'm from the Philippines. I passed CBT last 15-Mar. I submitted my NMC application last 04-Apr, I checked DHL and NMC received my forms 06-Apr. I haven't received any email from them yet though, no acknowledgement or anything. Is that okay?

Also, I was just wondering. What if I receive my COS and VISA ahead of my DL, can I fly to the UK even without the Decision Letter. Is that possible? Did that ever happen to anyone here? Or know someone who went to UK without their DL?

Also, is someone here under the agency Jane Lewis (UK) / Staffhouse (PH)? My hospital is University Hospitals of Morecambe Bay NHS Foundation Trust. Anyone here who is hired by that hospital too? And those agencies I've mentioned above. Thanks.

According to my agency... The NHS hospital will not file a CoS for you if you havent received your DL yet... And sometimes... Other hospitals necessitates the UKTB Certificate as well for them to file a CoS for you...

I responded to the email of my assesment officer as she used her own email when she asked for additional info (CV)

Hello, thanks for the reply. :) My UK agency advised me that they already applied for COS even without the DL. They waited for me to submit my DL application online and for me to send the forms before they applied for the COS but they said that they applied for it already.

I've also done my UKTB testing already at IOM in Manila and they used the results for that as well for my COS application. :) I'm not yet sure though how long we have to wait for the COS, they told me initially that it will be released today but haven't heard from them yet.

Anyone here for UNIVERSITY OF MORECAMBE BAY? And Jane Lewis/Staffhouse?

Please call +44 (0)2073336600 this is the nmc # call them should be able to check it out for you who processed your case worker and will either transfer you or give the email address

Hello everyone. Is there anyone here who's currently waiting for their COS and will process their Visa here in Saudi Arabia?
