Hi Guys,
I found an old thread from 2016 but wanted to start anew so we don't have to filter through 20+ pages. I submitted my application in June and it was placed on the queue on June 21. I am still anxiously waiting for my decision letter. My 40 working days is on the 16 August. Is there anyone else that submitted this at about the same time as me that's waiting to hear back?
Also - anyone have issues with clinical practice hours in university from the US? I was short by 25 hospital hours, but I did 187 hours volunteering at a hospital while I was in school. They said to include that in my transcript of training, that it should be ok but it would still need to be assessed like everything else, which leads me to believe it should be fine, albeit still so terrified! I have my family and my boyfriend waiting on me to get there and I can't wait any longer!!
anyone here on queue since 5th of July and already received DL?
My documents were received on July 27th accdg to NMC portal. To be sure I emailed them and asked them my queue date and they replied that I was put on queue on August 1st. Will be expecting a feedback sometime 1st or 2nd week of September.
Hey guys. I'm sure it's just my anxiety talking but has anyone experienced where their visa application has been denied?
Mine has been lodged and is on priority service. So 5-6 business days. I'll be hearing back tomorrow or early next week, but just wanted to hear some of the experiences here?
Hello everyone,
The NMC in collaboration with the test centres have published a new material for candidates preparing for the OSCE. The name of the material is ' OSCE Support Material '.This book has all the charts and other information used in the NMC OSCE and this was not available to the previous test takers. I think the OSCE is more transparent now. I recommend we download it for use while we wait to take OSCE.Check the websites of the test centres for it.

Please calm down. Everything will be fine.
Okay so another query on visa application. I just remembered I forgot to add one country from the list I have been to in the last 10 years.
It was to Saudi Arabia for religious purposes. I will call the immigration centre as soon as I can tomorrow to explain and say I just forgot..
But should I be worried? Has anyone heard of similar instances and have had their visas denied or delayed?

This is a quote from the UKVI website ;
'You'll need a certificate from any country you've stayed in for a total of 12 months or more over the last 10 years.'
So if you did not stay there for a period of 12 months then you will not be required to produce one.
Call them as you said to clarify too.

Oh no no this was just for 3 weeks for a visit.
You know the part in the application where they ask if you have been to any country other than your country of residence in the past 10 years? I just forgot to mention one of them. The stamp is in the passport though. I don't have any other countries I have stayed in for more than 12 months in the past 10 years.
I'll call tomorrow asap and clarify. Thank you.

Yes, especially after 30 days. I have read somewhere on this site (i cant remember if its this thread or the 2016 one) but theres this applicant who was in day 40 of processing . He emailed or called NMC for an update. However when he got the reply, he was shocked that his process has not even started. It also was indicated that it was HIS responsibility to ask if his processig was started.
Thanks. and goodluck
