2017 NMC UK Decision Letter

Published

Hi Guys,

I found an old thread from 2016 but wanted to start anew so we don't have to filter through 20+ pages. I submitted my application in June and it was placed on the queue on June 21. I am still anxiously waiting for my decision letter. My 40 working days is on the 16 August. Is there anyone else that submitted this at about the same time as me that's waiting to hear back?

Also - anyone have issues with clinical practice hours in university from the US? I was short by 25 hospital hours, but I did 187 hours volunteering at a hospital while I was in school. They said to include that in my transcript of training, that it should be ok but it would still need to be assessed like everything else, which leads me to believe it should be fine, albeit still so terrified! I have my family and my boyfriend waiting on me to get there and I can't wait any longer!!

Hi,

I also got into the assessment queue on 2nd August, hopefully waiting to get the DL by 2nd week of September. I am heading towards Colchester. Is anyone moving to the same place?

Hi! How did you know you are on the queue?

On the day when my NMC port showed that all the documents are received and uploaded, i mailed the NMC asking if i am in the queue and i got the reply that I got in the queue on August 2nd.

I got in the queue on August 1st. I got NMC feedback on the 24th of August. I am now complying with those documents they need. Hopefully, I'll get my DL soon after I'll submit everything. God bless us!

Hi everyone! Received my DL last June 29, up until now I don't have a CoS yet. My agency kept telling me they already requested for it, now I am really getting frustrated. My friends got their CoS just days after their DLs were issued. Should I transfer to another agency? What do you guys think?

Hi, we're on the same boat. Can i ask what hospital you're into? Thanks

I'm not with any trusts, bound for a carehome in NI. It's frustrating. I talked with another agency, the agency told me they could deploy me on the 1st week of October. You think I should be a little bit patient and wait for the CoS? Maybe there's just a high influx of applicants this month.

Do you mind changing emails so we cam communicate privately? Thinking of the transferring as well. You can email me [email protected] thanks

Anyone here deployed to Great Western Hospital? Thanks

Hi it's [email protected] thanks

I was placed on queue 5th July, I received a feedback feom NMC 22nd August and I was asked to upload an additional document on my portal which I did on the same day. I emailed NMC and I was told that my application will be assessed within 60 days and I am now placed on queue 22nd August instead of 5th July. Anyone here had the same experience as mine?
