2017 NMC UK Decision Letter

Published

Hi Guys,

I found an old thread from 2016 but wanted to start anew so we don't have to filter through 20+ pages. I submitted my application in June and it was placed on the queue on June 21. I am still anxiously waiting for my decision letter. My 40 working days is on the 16 August. Is there anyone else that submitted this at about the same time as me that's waiting to hear back?

Also - anyone have issues with clinical practice hours in university from the US? I was short by 25 hospital hours, but I did 187 hours volunteering at a hospital while I was in school. They said to include that in my transcript of training, that it should be ok but it would still need to be assessed like everything else, which leads me to believe it should be fine, albeit still so terrified! I have my family and my boyfriend waiting on me to get there and I can't wait any longer!!

For all those waiting for CoS, don't worry. It will come! My one had a slight delay because the person who was in charge of giving mine was on annual leave and only returned this week.

But I got it a couple days ago and my amazing agency has already lodged and paid for my visa application. My visa interview is on Monday, and also through priority service.

My contract with my trust starts on the 10th of September, so I shall hopefully be flying soon~

Best of luck to everyone. We will get there in the end.

Anyone else bound for Royal Brompton Hospital?

can anyone help me regarding police clearance from saudi arabia for visa application?? i have my police clearance dated october 2017 and it is already expired. what can i do for visa application?/

Hello,

Anyone here already applying for their uk visa?

have done your application??

Good day,

I asked for an update from NMC regarding my application . I also asked if my assessment stared at the time they recieved my email. This is their reply

"In relation to your application, we have received all your documents on 12/07/2018 and your file is now ready for assessment. At this time you do not need to send any more information regarding your application. You can view which barcoded documents have been received via your online portal. You can also view the status of your application via the online portal.

Assessments are made within 60 days providing we have all of the necessary information. As part of the review we have to complete an extensive check which means that on some occasions we may need to go over the 60 days to ensure that we have all of the information needed to register an individual. Our overall aim is to protect the public and this will occasionally mean that timescales will be subject to change at very short notice. I am sure you will appreciate that all nurses and midwives need to be registered correctly and the level of complexity that may be required cannot always be governed by timescales. We are sorry for any delay. "

Does it mean my assessment has not started yet? Furthermore, I have received an email from a third party personnel that my appliction already started. Has anyone recieved their DL already after only 30++ days of waiting? tnx. Im on day 37 by the way

Hey there~

No, this means your assessment has started and they will contact you within 60+ days with feedback.

I got my first feedback after 35 days. But they needed further documentation which took another 2 weeks. In total, I got my DL after around 57 days.

You'll get there, don't worry (:

I'm with HCL also and I must attest they are very reliable, I'm waiting on my decision letter and during this time Gwyneth, one of the recruitment agent has been very supportive . Fingers cross you'll hear from them soon, maybe its a delay from the hospital end.
