Anybody here who took the Pearsons Vue NMC exam? How was it? TY!

If their judgement lies on critical questions, then they should have just give an exam with 40 or 50 critical questions and required us to perfect it in short... hehehe...

Damn imso frustrated.. ;(

Nixon. Same with our agency. Where are you from?

I am scheduled to take the test for the first time at the end of this week.. Although, I feel like I should push it back because very few people are passing. But, at the same time, I've studied the blueprint and The Code/Standards and I feel like there's not much more I can do to prepare. I took the practice test (yes, it's only 5 questions- and it's free) and got them all correct, but it sounds like the practice test is probably not an adequate reflection of the exam itself. Especially because it's only 5 questions, and let's be serious, how is 5 questions going to help prepare us for anything? I'm very interested in everyone's experiences and what you've all heard back from the NMC. How frustrating all of this has become! My recruiter says she's had 10 people take it and 2 have passed. She couldn't give me any info other than that.

Anyone heard from the NMC as to why we can't book the second exam?

I'm in the same boat as you, LO... I rescheduled my test from Tues (tomorrow) to Thurs of this wk just to get a couple of extra days to postpone. When are you going in to take yours? I feel as prepared as I can be also, I've gone through everything and I don't want to wait forever for them to fix the test.

At least we know that SOME people have passed so it IS possible :)

Good luck to you, and let me know how it goes!

Yep but I am sincerely interested in their statistics.

I'm scheduled for Thursday afternoon! I've been emailing my recruiter back and forth, so I'll let you guys know if I hear of any helpful tips or any info in general about this whole situation.

I recently took it and was very disappointed. I had studied by the blueprint, knew the code like the back of my hand as well as several of their publications and standards. I went into it with confidence as I've been a nurse for several years in many settings. I felt like there was only one ambiguous question regarding the code and very few questions regarding med administration and consent. I think I would've been better off just studying their nurse scope of practice as it seems they have less autonomy than in the states. The blueprint is a joke (half the links are erroneous). Not to mention there were typos throughout the test-which made me wonder if anyone proof read or practiced it before they released it.

So you had the same problems like everybody else. Where are you from?

Yes I did. I'm curious what the pass rate is. I'm from the US

Im fro the Philippines, and almost every body is failing here
