Anybody here who took the Pearsons Vue NMC exam? How was it? TY!

So different agencies can give me a better deal on pay at different hospitals? Don't i need to apply to the agency first before I start applying to hospitals? Sorry if i sound like an idiot, I just never had to go through an agency before so I'm not sure how this works...

@Cottntale32 in my case i apply in a consultancy, sponsorship is given. and will be assigned outside london

I exited KSA last 2015. During that time, the police clearance was released in the police main office in Hail. One of the requirements of NMC is a new police clearance, but it would be very difficult for me to process new one which should be taken in Riyadh. Also, with all the papers needed from NBI, DFA and Saudi embassy in Manila that would take so much time. I just uploaded the old police clearance, exit visa and stamp in my passport with their translated english copies. Those papers were translated in Muslim Office in Quezon City. Thank God NMC accepted my papers! ������

Hi. Is it okay if Philippine police clearance will be submitted to NMC if I didn't get one in Saudi? Thanks

I thought of that too, after having been on this thread im relieved that Im not the only one having issues with COS.

What makes me feel more frustrated is the fact that my agent from day 1 resigned from her post. And i already hand in my resignation to my current employer, it will take effect next month. And i fear of being unemployed, stuffs like that.

But im keeping my patience, #tiwalalang

Hi @Mich567715 seems that you are from saudi. isn't it police clearance is required for the NMC application. What if the employer doesn't give police clearance. do you know what should i do?

But do you think NMC will accept police clearance (Philippines) and not in Saudi? Anyways its been months when I last work there.

Ive been waiting a lil over a month now. Maybe, just maybe, it was not het assigned to me yet as my availability to travel is still on 28th of April. Maybe thats a factor for the delay.

Im avoiding to bother the agency, as I dont want then to get annoyed. Lol

approx 3 months was given by my consultancy. some of my friends told me that in the other agency it is much longer. so im not that worried.

I think from time to time you phone your agency for follow up.

For those nurses who may have the same problem with me in the future. I called NMC to tell them about the mistake in my reference form. They gave me two suggestions. Either I let my referee email them about the mistake and explain(which they said maybe faster) or I will email NMC to tell them to remove the scanned copy from my record. I should also inform them that I will be sending a new referee form. I will update you guys what the outcome will be.

A year at least. But that was when nursing wasn't in the SOL (Shortage Occupation List). You people are most definitely lucky now that you don't have to wait as long.

In my case my CoS came before my DL (today is the 23rd working day since I got queued). Our agency is tied up with a UK-based recruitment agency. They started with my CoS a few days after I told them my docs have already been received by the NMC. Around 2 weeks later (minus weekends) the hospital sent me my CoS.

Feb 21 - docs received by the NMC as reflected on portal

Feb 24 - received email from our local agency's partner agency in the UK re: stuff for CoS

March 15 - received CoS through email from Blackpool Victoria. ��
