  1. Hi everyone.. how does an NMC assessor give a feedback? Do they call you? email you? If they call you, what number appeared on your cellphone? I receive a call(which I wasn't able to answer) with the number "+0000". I'm worried its from NMC. Should I call the customer service?
  2. Is there anyone here who receive there Decision Letters already? Did they start releasing DLs for the month of March? Thanks!
  3. This actually happened to me twice. The first time, it took them 5 days to inform me that my account is already accessible. The second time was longer, 24 working days. I think this was the time they were fixing something/having difficulties in the NMC portal or something. I can't really remember. Sadly, you can't do anything but wait. It's really up to them but they do try to reply within 10 working days. From my experience, the longest time they replied, other than the 24 days but they had issues that time, was 10 days.
  4. oooh.. you can now take OSCE three times? it was only twice before right?
  5. Yup! I think there are only a few schools(I think there are none in the Philippines in my knowledge) that needs to fill out this form.
  6. Hi friend! Check this article. The whole process of NMC application including visa application is included here. https://allnurses.com/international-nursing/-how-to-obtain-1085575.html
  7. Alright! Just called the NMC. 1st is the "current work address" is the name of the hospital followed by the address of the hospital(street name). You can write on the blank space on the right if the boxes are not enough. She(the agent) suggested to provide as much information as possible as long it it's the same in the your NMC account. 2nd, if the hospital doesn't have a phone, you can use put a cellphone number. 3rd, The country code is already provided but be sure to provide the area code before the telephone number.
  8. Hi guys! In the "current work address" of the reference form(to be filled out by the referee), do you write the name of the hospital or the street name? If the address is too long, can you write the rest on the side(blank space) after the boxes?
  9. For those nurses who may have the same problem with me in the future. I called NMC to tell them about the mistake in my reference form. They gave me two suggestions. Either I let my referee email them about the mistake and explain(which they said maybe faster) or I will email NMC to tell them to remove the scanned copy from my record. I should also inform them that I will be sending a new referee form. I will update you guys what the outcome will be.
  10. Hi! Is there an update for the applicants here in CTN? How are the nurses who were deployed in UK? Please share your experiences with us.
  11. Thank you! You really help me.
  12. It's really is a hassle! It was my first workplace five years ago where I was a bright eyed new nurse who wanted to serve my fellowmen. It's a small hospital that doesn't even have a phone line. Now, I have to travel six hours just to go to that municipality, talk to my referee, make sure she fills out the form (without mistakes this time) then mail it then wait for weeks before it will reflect in my account. And worst of all, my IELTS will expire in September! I'm so nervous I will have to retake it! *sobs (Sorry for the rant. I'm a bundle of nerves these days. And yeah, I will call NMC later this day.)
  13. How about if there are multiple telephone numbers or emails? Can I use a slash(/)? Thanks!
  14. Thank you! at least that is one less off my problems.
  15. I am in trouble. My reference letter has already been received and scanned. It was only now when I was rechecking copies of my submitted papers that I noticed mistakes. My referee wrote the name of the hospital in the current work address which extended up to the first line of the street name as the name of the hospital was long. It was only in the second line of the street name that she was able to write the address of the hospital which also extended up to the town/city line. Basically, she wrote the name and address of the hospital while ignoring the labels. What should I do? Can I resend my reference letter? But it has already been scanned! Should I call NMC? Do I call them now or after I send a new form?
