Anybody here who took the Pearsons Vue NMC exam? How was it? TY!

Hi everybody! I'm in the middle of my assessment for NMC. I haven't click submit yet because of a really minor issue. I don't know what format to put in the telephone number. Do I have to provide the area code? for example (082)2821234. Am I allowed to put parenthesis? I feel so stupid asking this but at the same time I'm scared it will affect my assessment.

I am in trouble. My reference letter has already been received and scanned. It was only now when I was rechecking copies of my submitted papers that I noticed mistakes. My referee wrote the name of the hospital in the current work address which extended up to the first line of the street name as the name of the hospital was long. It was only in the second line of the street name that she was able to write the address of the hospital which also extended up to the town/city line. Basically, she wrote the name and address of the hospital while ignoring the labels.

What should I do? Can I resend my reference letter? But it has already been scanned! Should I call NMC? Do I call them now or after I send a new form?

Hi guys! Still waiting for my DL but my COS arrived nearly 2 weeks ago. It's been 22 working days since my documents were received and uploaded on my portal. Anybody here who joined the queue last Feb? I was placed on queue Feb 21. í ½í¸Š

Btw have you guys heard of what happened near Parliament in London just today?

On the barcoded form it's fine but not on the online application...dont include any brackets,parenthesis or hyphen on the nmc online application...just accomplish the contact details with numbers only...and yes, you'll also need to include the area code.

i am sorry to hear that... i dont know how would you address the problem...you can ask your referee to answer again the reference forms and resend it to the nmc...BUT it's better to call the nmc first (Call and not email,it will take more or less 10 days to receive a response thru email)...maybe they'll reconsider it, we dont know...and make sure that what was written in the barcoded forms must be exactly the same on your nmc portal.

Hopefully, you don't need to spend money for mailing new set of docs, it's really a hassle and time-consuming, and another couple of days before it will reflect on your portal and would delay you to be put on the assessment queue...

Call the nmc now (i mean later, when its 8am in the UK, its still dawn there at the moment)

Hi @Mich567715 seems that you are from saudi. isn't it police clearance is required for the NMC application. What if the employer doesn't give police clearance. do you know what should i do?

I worked in Saudi Arabia too. The Saudi police clearance is actually not given/provided by the employer. It is the individual who wants to obtain it who will be the one that will process it by the help and endorsement from the Philippine embassy (assuming you're Filipino too).

In my case, I wasn't able to secure it before my exit. The good thing about NMC is that they are accepting exit stamp on the passport provided that you will send it to them with English translation. It will greatly help you too if you have your muqeem (a piece of paper that contains the information about the exit visa) to send to the NMC with an attachment of its English translation.

How about if there are multiple telephone numbers or emails? Can I use a slash(/)? Thanks!

It's really is a hassle! It was my first workplace five years ago where I was a bright eyed new nurse who wanted to serve my fellowmen. It's a small hospital that doesn't even have a phone line. Now, I have to travel six hours just to go to that municipality, talk to my referee, make sure she fills out the form (without mistakes this time) then mail it then wait for weeks before it will reflect in my account. And worst of all, my IELTS will expire in September! I'm so nervous I will have to retake it! *sobs

(Sorry for the rant. I'm a bundle of nerves these days. And yeah, I will call NMC later this day.)

Just choose 1 contact detail, the main line...same here, my employer has 3 phone lines and 2 email addresses. Just make sure that whatever contact details written in the barcoded forms are the same information on your nmc portal application.
