Anybody here who took the Pearsons Vue NMC exam? How was it? TY!

Hi guys! I just want to ask how long usually it take for the nmc to upload the forms they required you to send to them? My local courrier informed me that all my forms were delivered last june 6 but until now the nmc still not uploading it to my portal. What should i do? Thanks

Guys be careful and be more keen on checking your Nmc forms,, I was recently taken off the assessment queue because my nmc ftatt (form to accompany transcript of training) did not have a date on the last page. Sadly, I have to resubmit my application and submit another ftatt to be able to go back on the assessment.. 😢

If they haven't uploaded your documents after 15 working days, you should call NMC.

Specializes in Surg- PACU/Anaes.

Hi- are you already in the UK ? Or did you get an offer in UK from your home country? Thanks!

Hi guys, I'm also waiting for my DL. I was put on queue last week of May. I would like to ask if there is anyone here who is already on the assessment queue but decided to change agency/employer due to proximity of the location of your family members in the UK. the new hospital is way near like 30 mins to my family compared to the 6 hrs.I haven't signed any formal contract yet but only a conditional offer. They will be having an interview this coming weeks. What did you to inform your current agency that you will be withdrawing application? Did you pay any fees? TIA!

Where can u see the NMC feedback about your documents?

Where can u see the NMC feedback about your documents?

You can see it directly above your infos in the portal. If they have received your documents it will be uploaded. If they want to ask for more documents the feedback would be their next to the document needed.

Hi everyone,

I tried to upload my scanned documents to my NMC Portal but I am always getting an error whenever I try to submit it. I made sure that the scanned docs are all PDF files and are less than 5MB but still I'm getting the runtime error or critical error every time i upload it. If anyone knows how to solve this problem, please help me. I would appreciate it a lot!

Can anyone add me to the Omanfil-KCH viber group? In need of help here. Thanks in advance!

Hey everyone, like gen88 I sat the NMC online exam and failed. It was the most frustrating couple of hours ever! I'm pretty sure my overall grade would have been >80% but 2-3 of the essential questions were so poorly worded that I must have gotten one or two wrong. I feel like I knew everything that they referred to I just couldn't figure out what answer they wanted. There was an essential question related to a policy which I had read in preparation for the exam and not a single available answer was 100% correct and I have read that policy about 100 times since and still maintain that the available answers are all wrong. There was another question relating to a medical complication and 3 of the 4 options would all indicate a complication... I know we're meant to select the 'most correct' answer but there were two that were a dead set tie (and I have confirmed this by researching the complication after the exam) so even if i rest it I don't know what answer they want. In addition I was under the impression that the essential questions were on topics that were essential to safe lawful practice such as the laws of consent, drug calculations, detecting deterioration etc. but some essential questions were so specific to particular fields and if I hadn't been exposed to pretty much every specialty by working in ED and ICU for years I would have had no clue.

For those of you who are sitting it I would advise reading all of the NMC codes, competencies and published guidance. The topics that these are available in include medication management, consent, confidentiality ethics etc. I also read a short current text on UK health law and ethics and some case study books which were good to refresh anatomy, physiology, pathophysiology, pharmacology and treatment. If I had more time I would have started reading through the tonnes of info on the RCN site.

The one thing I have to give credit for is that they don't keep you hanging, I checked the Pearson Vue website about an hour after finishing the exam and my fail was already sitting there. So when you finish the test go home, poor a huge glass of wine and check your results (then finish the bottle in grief). Good luck everyone, I would love to hear if anyone passes it so keep us updated!

Also experienced this when I took the Qatar prometric test, which also happens to be under pearsonvue. There were poorly worded questions, as well as answers, that somehow makes it difficult. But I passed that exam. Hopefully, I pass the CBT as well!

Did you push through with King's?

This happened to me. Just don't upload everything at once. Upload em one by one.
