Just to share with you my experience, I did not read the Blueprint AT ALL. Just the Marsden book, which btw, I managed to reach only until Chapter 12 (I missed chapters 13-15), nursing domains and Adult Nsg field specific competencies pdfs. I took and passed the exam last Feb 22 and as most, if not all of the previous passers would say, it is a lot easier than what you expect it to be. :up:

hello everyone, i am at present processing my papers for assessment stage, i passed my CBT last april 26. I just wanted to raise certain questions:

1. for nursing reference, my supervisor used only her trodat, would that be enough?

2. tb screening will be required on visa processing stage? or in NMC assessment stage as well?

3. I came from two different schools with two different course when I was in college, do I need to ask my two university to fill up the form for NMC or just where I attended my Nursing COurse?

Hi guys! I was just wondering if we have to declare all our nursing registrations when uploading our documents to the nmc? Because I passed the nclex, do i have to provide the verification to the nmc coming from the board of nursing in the U.S.? Thank you!

Hi,I have the same problem,struggling to upload documents and also documents thats was sent does not show up as received. I submitted application thinking all is in order and received reply saying Those docs still need to be uploaded. Problem is that everything is time sensitive and id there is one problem then have to redo everything again. Police clearance only valid for few months and really difficult to obtain in the first place,also medical certificate,had to get second one as first one more than 6 months. Very frustrated,been doing this for nesrly 2 years now,working as careworker in scotland when I should be nursing. The whole process very unuser friendly

Hi, i can relate to you in this case and i agree with you, the whole process is super slow and not user friendly. I have submitted all my documents way back in Dec.2015 still haven't got authorization letter from NMC yet. I can clearly sense what NMC will instruct me to do tomorrow when i will call them again, ''You will have to resubmit police clearance and medical certificate as they are no longer valid''.Tired of waiting):

Hi! I worked in Saudi before.

1. You need an explanation letter from Saudi Council regarding your registration gap. But they will not give you that. Instead, you can ask your head nurse to sign an explanation letter which tells that you don't actually practice as staff nurse during the "probationary" period and you have a preceptor during that 5 months as your adjustment period. Which really worked in my case.

2. You have to get a police clearance with a precise date or NMC will only reject that and it will consume u more time.

3. You need one referee each hospital that you worked for.

4. Ask your HR in the Philippines to write your last working day Feb.10 as your official resignation date. The data that you input online must reflect the one that you will submit to NMC via courier.

Hi guys,
I was just wondering if any of you experienced the same problem:
The 'This document has been received' note disappeared on my Registration Authority Verification. PRC sent it via FedEx last Feb 3 and was uploaded in the portal on Feb 17 (with the note that its been received). Right after I clicked on 'Submit' last Feb 24, it wasn't there already. I thought of it as a system glitch so I just ignored it but up until now, it still isn't reflecting back as a document they received.
Two of my friends already got their DL recently and they submitted all the forms on the 2nd week of March so I am a little worried since NMC received and uploaded all my docs last Feb 24.
Would appreciate any insight. Thank you.

Email NmC with the scanned copy of your courier delivery receipt. It is also helpful to save your delivery proof which can be downloaded from the website of couriers if you have your tracking number.

If you didn't practiced as nurse in US, I guess you won't need to declare it.

Hello everyone!
I am already on queue for assessment in NMC. Though I'm in this stage of my application, I am still worrying about my police clearance.
I work here in Oman and the police clearance they issued had the spelling of my name incorrect. I tried to fix it with them but to no avail because the spelling could not be changed that easily. Its a very complicated and long process. So what I did is I went to the Philippine embassy and had them sign an affidavit stating that that police clearance with the wrong spelling is the same person as the one stated in my Philippine birth certificate. So I uploaded that affidavit along with the police clearance to NMC back in March.
But just today did I notice that in the affidavit, I entered the wrong day when the police clearance was issued. So basically, the date of issue of the police clearance in the affidavit do not match with the actual police clearance.
I called up NMC and the representative was not very helpful and don't know what to do also. He put me on hold for more than 5 minutes but still wasn't able to help me out with my concern.
What should I do? Will this affect my decision letter? I am very worried.

I think it is best to get a new police clearance with a correct spelling of your name. You won't get your DL sooner because you uploaded a questionable paper, as soon as they re-opened your NMC account, re-edit then upload your new police clearance.
