Anybody here who took the Pearsons Vue NMC exam? How was it? TY!

Do you already have your DL? What was the latest update on your deployment?

first they told me that I am lined up for march 31 deployement, but they haven't been able to give my a COS, then they told me that i'll be able to be deployed in may 4, but up to now, no COS. COS are released 5 days after every 11th of every month. So, if we don't have our COS now, we have to wait for COS release on may 11. you can email me at [email protected]

Hi,

Is it true that all COS application for April will be released on May 11? I was told by my agency in UK that there had been changes in the status of Nursing profession from temporary to permanent shortlisted profession that's why there had been a delay in COS issuance this April. Can someone validate if this is true or not?

Thanks

Hello everyone!

I am already on queue for assessment in NMC. Though I'm in this stage of my application, I am still worrying about my police clearance.

I work here in Oman and the police clearance they issued had the spelling of my name incorrect. I tried to fix it with them but to no avail because the spelling could not be changed that easily. Its a very complicated and long process. So what I did is I went to the Philippine embassy and had them sign an affidavit stating that that police clearance with the wrong spelling is the same person as the one stated in my Philippine birth certificate. So I uploaded that affidavit along with the police clearance to NMC back in March.

But just today did I notice that in the affidavit, I entered the wrong day when the police clearance was issued. So basically, the date of issue of the police clearance in the affidavit do not match with the actual police clearance.

I called up NMC and the representative was not very helpful and don't know what to do also. He put me on hold for more than 5 minutes but still wasn't able to help me out with my concern.

What should I do? Will this affect my decision letter? I am very worried.

Hi! I have not received any update from my agency but I have read from their website that CoS have already been allocated for April 2016.

Is this Tier 2 in general or just for Nursing? I was thinking maybe there' something in the "Nursing".

Can you update me when you hear anything new?

Thanks

I'm guessing its for all Tier 2 applications. Yeah, will post any update here once I hear from my agency. :)

Hi guys,

I was just wondering if any of you experienced the same problem:

The 'This document has been received' note disappeared on my Registration Authority Verification. PRC sent it via FedEx last Feb 3 and was uploaded in the portal on Feb 17 (with the note that its been received). Right after I clicked on 'Submit' last Feb 24, it wasn't there already. I thought of it as a system glitch so I just ignored it but up until now, it still isn't reflecting back as a document they received.

Two of my friends already got their DL recently and they submitted all the forms on the 2nd week of March so I am a little worried since NMC received and uploaded all my docs last Feb 24.

Would appreciate any insight. Thank you. xhappy.png.pagespeed.ic.E_79LnZ_Q3.png

it happened to me too. When they ask me to supply aditional info for my saudi licenses, the note "this doc has been received" disappeares beside my prc verification form. I called nmc several times for them to fix it. At frst they are saying i need to send another prc form but gud thing they wer able to fix the issue aftr several follow ups. U have to call them for them to make a faster action.

Thank you so much. Will surely call them today. It seems that they have received all my documents though.

Hello everyone!!!

I have tried back reading but there's just a gazillion of informations here. Its very helpful by the way!

I have a few questions. Hope somebody can shed some light on this.

I am scheduled to take CBT April 25 but as early as now I am already "mentally" preparing some of the documents that will need to be submitted for my Full Assessment, God-willing of course if I pass the CBT.

1). I have worked in the Middle East (From Feb 2012-March 2016), arrived there Feb 12, 2012 - got only registered by the Regulation Authority August 11, 2012. Less than 6 months. Do I need to present an explanation for that "gap"?

2). My Police Clearance in the Middle East has a bit of a wrong info. It stated there I started my residence Jan 2012 instead of February 2012. You know how difficult it is to get a police clearance from that side of the planet. Will there be an issue? It is still valid though, I got it last week of March. Expiring around June which will be enough for my application.

3). For the Referees, I only worked for 2 hospitals (1 hospital in the Philippines, 1 in the Middle East). Is 1 referee per hospital enough? So I will have a cumulative of two.

4). I OFFICIALLY resigned in my Philippine hospital February 15, 2012. Hired in my middle east hospital February 12, 2012.. I don't know what to put then. I left my Philippine hospital February 10..then arrived in the Middle east February 12. Can I just put it that way (Up to February 10 for Philippine Hospital, hired February 12 for my Middle East Hospital)?

Thank you so much! I just started the entire process 1st week of April. It has been a rush, from being interviewed, hired, medicals, all of the documents required by my agency.. Its just overwhelming but its been good.

No, that's not necessary.

I have no idea about this. If you are going to be presenting another piece of document that contradicts what is contained in your police clearance, then of course you are going to have a problem. What you can do is either get a corrected clearance or at least a statement from the place of issue declaring that they made a mistake in the form.

3). For the Referees, I only worked for 2 hospitals (1 hospital in the Philippines, 1 in the Middle East). Is 1 referee per hospital enough? So I will have a cumulative of two.

Yes, that should be fine.

Again, you should just stick to the facts unless you are absolutely certain you won't be found out. NMC is pretty forgiving so long as you just give them the truth. You could indicate in writing the consequences that led to the discrepancies in your clinical experience.

Always a pleasure.

Thank you very much Kurokochi for the reply.

I guess the date of my police clearance won't really be an issue as long as I provide them a valid police clearance from the middle east. The rest of my informations are correct. I have heard from my agency that NMC/UK employers usually "despise" (sorry for the lack of a better word) those middle east offices as the latter tend to be complicated.

And yes, I think you are correct of my "overlapping" end of work in the Philippines and start of work in the Middle East. I will send them a letter of explanation about this. This happens when your overseas employers wants you right away, and you have many leave credits remaining in the Philippine hospitals. I basically left my Philippine hospital Feb 01 but they officially put my end of of contract at Feb 16 due to remaining unused leave days.

I have another question, forgive me if I may.

Say for example my Middle East licensing authority won't release any license verification, is there any way to prove my licensing with NMC?

Thank you again!
