NMC Test Online

Anybody here who took the Pearsons Vue NMC exam? How was it? TY!

Hi Malakite,

i read from the previous post that they used Medical Officer for the position. So I guess tha should be fine. medical practitioner would also suffice.

it depends on their gender i guess. Mine was a single female doctor ao she indicated Miss.

Can anyone help me, please? I know this is a stupid question but I hope you guys can help.

Our hospital name is too long, and won't fit the box in the form, is it okay to use the box for the street name? Or should I write beyond the margins?

the same goes for the email address, the .com wont fit. Hahaha, i know this a really silly question but I hope you guys can help me out again

You can put more than one letter in a single box if the entry length doesn't fit.

Does the NMC requires a set number of hours per week? How many hours did you put in the box? Thanks guys

You mean for the work experience form? I had our HR fill it out. IIRC, they put in 40 hours per week on my form.

Thanks! Same here :)

Thankyou once again @Kurokocchi. í ½í¸Š

Another stupid question, and I know I have been asking alot of questions but I have nowhere else to ask clarifications from.. my agency isn't a big help since they always answer vaguely.

hmm. I am wondering whether if it is okay if it is okay to put the personal contact number of the Chief nurse on the employer reference since our hospital does not have a landline. Yup, you read it right. We honestly don't have a landline number and dry seal. And for clarification, Chief Nurses are okay fill out the form, right?

Hi. I am wondering what is the reason you transferred agency? Because I am also not satisfied with my agency. They don't even reply to my email, and if they do, it takes them days before they answer. And when they answer, they don't actually answer my questions. it's just frustrating.

Congrats and good luck with you OSCE.

Good Day

im just starting my UK dream

I just want to clarify if the work experience form should be filled out by the Human resource personnel or it can done by my head nurse?

and I understand that there are forms which need the stamp of the doctor and referees.

are there any other application forms that needs the stamp of the hospital?

I'm sorry for the question, I am so particular about the stamp/dry seal because currently I am working here in KSA, in a private hospital, and our HR head is very strict on giving the hospital's stamp especially if the papers are application forms for another country.

Hi...they would need work experience from HR then senior nurses should provide recommendation letters

The reference forms that would be coming from NMC will need the stamp of your hospital

I am working in KSA...and we don't have dry seal here not like in Philippines so stamp will suffice.

Where are you in the process?

You can send me PM as i finished everything....im just waiting for COS

GOODLUCK!!!

Congrats and good luck with you OSCE.

I transferred agency because I didn't feel ASC's support when I failed my first CBT attempt. I was interviewed last November 2014. Finally, after my second try, I was able to get a 'Pass' remark and applied in Omanfil. It was a tough interview(theory)/practicals (application) last April 24, but the guys from UCLH did so for them to gauge if we can take the OSCE in one go. Was supposed to be here in UK last July but had a problem with my visa application. Well, September ain't that bad eh? Everything's surreal still and we'll start with the OSCE prep by Monday. Will let you know about our review. Wishing you the best @mcqueen92!

I'm really sorry for the late reply. It's just so hectic for me lately, I can only check the forum but don't have time to reply.

Anyway, I don't see a problem with putting in your chief nurse's personal number. Just make sure it really is her number in case NMC makes that [rare] phone call. And yes, your chief nurse is qualified to fill out your form.

Hello. No, not yet. I'm in the same boat as many people here, waiting for the CoS.

@kurokocchi: aww... You are under what hospital?
