UK NMC decision Letter stories, CoS stories and experiences
Updated: Published
So, I decided to start this thread so we can discuss our U.K. NMC decision letter stories as well as CoS and Tier 2 visa application in the year 2019. Especially with all the new updates and changes with the NMC for international registration and Brexit.
I joined the queue on the 20th of February and still waiting for my DL. I know it is still early. But these days, people have been testifying to getting it in less than 15 working days. I am really anxious. Anyone submitted around the time, and still waiting for their DL as well?
Hi guys. Hope you all are enjoying your weekend. ?
I am having a dilemma because my skype interview with my new prospect employer was cancelled twice already. I don't know if it really is the hosp or the agency in the uk who is having an issue. I can't wait any longer because i have a document that's expiring by next month. It was quite expensive if i will get that document again. ?
I'm now thinking of looking for another hosp to get an interview with but i don't know how to say it to my current agency. I don't wanna get tagged as unprofessional etc. ??
Anyone here with the same/had been in this situation?
Thanks for the advice (in advance) ?

What Agency are you with? I have the same issue, cancelled interviews.
I think you should let the agency know that you would like to interview with another hospital. This whole process is long and quite frustrating so I'm sure they will understand that you are trying to look out for your best interests. Also, you're trying move forward with your life, if there is anyway you or they can expediate this process, go for it! I don't think it will appear unprofessional at all.

Thank you. I already express my concern to my agency. They understood my frustrations so they will get me an Skype interview with another hosp this week. I hope this will be it. Hehehe. If nothing happens this week then that's the time I'll look for another agency who can get properly address my situation. The one I'm having a problem with is the agency in the UK. Their partner agency here in the Philippines are also waiting for their moves there. They are also frustrated so they will try to get me a new interview schedule with diff hosp.

Hi everyone, I am in the process of submitting my documents, my nursing council submitted my documents 2 weeks ago but it doesn't reflect on my nmc portal. They also can't provide a tracking number for me. I am still waiting for my nursing school of training to send my transcript. My question is that should I wait for all my documents to be sent before calling nmc? Did others see their document update before all were sent. Thanks.
I have also the same problem, My college forwarded the verification from and transcript of training 2 weeks before, but in my portal the status not changed as "The document has been received". I contacted the courier service, they provided the tracking number, when it checked online, it shows the document has been delivered on 26th August 2019. Now I send an email to NMC regarding on it whether it is received or not,

When it comes to your documents, be assertive. Do not wait for advice. You have to be assertive because you want to save time and money as much as possible. NMC could misplace documents sometimes. So you better make sure they will not misplace yours. If you’ve seen it was delivered and received by the council, very well, calling the NMC wont harm you nor them. Call them. No need to ask anyone. Because this is about you and your application. You wouldn’t want to go thru the process of securing those documents all over again just because it was misplaced or lost. You have to prevent that from happening.
