UK NMC decision Letter stories, CoS stories and experiences
Updated: Published
So, I decided to start this thread so we can discuss our U.K. NMC decision letter stories as well as CoS and Tier 2 visa application in the year 2019. Especially with all the new updates and changes with the NMC for international registration and Brexit.
I joined the queue on the 20th of February and still waiting for my DL. I know it is still early. But these days, people have been testifying to getting it in less than 15 working days. I am really anxious. Anyone submitted around the time, and still waiting for their DL as well?

Any insight will be greatly appreciated.
Please register under NHS/NHS GLP and Trac job ("trac.jobs"NHS official recruter) 95% NHS hospitals will recruit thru Trac job. after Registration, please look for appropriate nursing vacany and apply, also send email to the hospital recruitment person (email will be avilable beside each job post) before applying please check if they are providing international relocation package with T2 Visa, if they impress with your CV they will contact you for SKYPE interview. Good Luck!

Documents received means the documents you sent were already received by the NMC. Inyour portal, you will see on the section where you needed to send documents by post a remark that says “This document has been received” and that’s it. Your entire online application in your portal, will be on “Read Only” once you clicked submit. And that will remain that way. Once you received your DL, the next thing you will see is the link to download your DL instead of your online application.
Regarding the commencement of assessment of your application, you will join the queue after NMC received the last document you needed to submit. But that’s not always the case. So it is advised to call them to confirm your queue date.

Thank you so much! This was really informative. Could you tell me how long does it take to issue CoS after receiving the DL? Also, after getting the CoS how long does it take to fly to the UK?
Hello Good people,
I got my DL on 15th July and submitted all the required documents for a Certificate of Sponsorship by 30th July. I'm yet to get the CoS even though its only been a month frustrations are kicking in. My liaison from the agency isn't making it any easier. I'll email/text him to get an update and he wont respond for 2-3 days.
I'm contemplating changing agencies but I they had gotten me the specific hospital I wanted.
Anyone going through the same?

I had tried applying individually (through trac jobs) to my preferred hospital (Nottingham University Hospitals) and told me for their overseas recruitment the work with a certain recruiter. So I had to seek that specific recruiter.
Which recruiter are you working with and where do you intend to go?

I read somewhere in this thread that one candidate received cos with in 30 minutes of getting DL. Why it took so long in ur case?

Got my DL today. My queue date was July 26. I felt exactly like you during my long wait. Just made myself busy and checked my email every two hours or so. It's also a good idea to call and to ask whether you already have an assessor or not.

Congratulations! Did they ask for any additional document in the middle? Did you get your CoS?

I think it depends on one's employer. My agency also says that it might take about a month for our COS to be available. Because this is sort of like an agreement between the government and the employer. And some employers only request for COS once everything else is cleared such as medical tests and a decision letter.

Yes. Because I was not able to send my official transcript. So I had my training school email it them. So I guess my DL got delayed by one day. And no COS yet, since my agency requires me to clear the medical tests first, then that's the time they could request for a COS.
