2019 NMC Decision Letter

UK NMC decision Letter stories, CoS stories and experiences

Updated:   Published

So, I decided to start this thread so we can discuss our U.K. NMC decision letter stories as well as CoS and Tier 2 visa application in the year 2019. Especially with all the new updates and changes with the NMC for international registration and Brexit.

I joined the queue on the 20th of February and still waiting for my DL. I know it is still early. But these days, people have been testifying to getting it in less than 15 working days. I am really anxious. Anyone submitted around the time, and still waiting for their DL as well?

Thank you!

I actually lost my job offer from the hospital in England because my process took a long time, almost a year now. I plan on interviewing for another hospital as soon as my recruiting company finds something suitable. I feel I should be more marketable especially having my DL in hand. I hope to be UK bound before Christmas.

Congratulations. I hope to be too. Lol

All the best for your future endeavours! Do you know how long the offers from NHS hospitals validate?

In my letter it stated the offer was valid for 1 year. I am 1 month short of 1 year but my recruiter stated the hospital was no longer issuing sponsorship letters.

What were the additional documents? I am apprehensive about mine! ?

It will come. Lol this will surely test your patience.

My length of training was not indicated on my transcript or the form to accompany the transcript. So it had to be verified by my university. The NMC accepted a letter via an email to confirm the info.

Alright, all is well that ends well.. You are lucky that you got it!

My fingers are crossed! ☹️

My DL took 45 days including weekends, but I finally got it.

The NMC required an additional document, like I stated previously. That's why it took longer.

Not everyone takes this long each situation is different. Hopefully you will get yours in a shorter timeframe.

If you could ask your employer in Saudi to give you a letter addressed to NMC explaining your unregistered practice, that would be better. Most probably the NMC will ask for explanation letter from your employer before they release your DL.

Good luck!

Thanks God, at last after 67th day, Just now I got my DL.... (after 4th review, 2times assessment officer changed, upper level management approval for unregistered practice - KSA, but they didn't ask any letter from my Saudi employer, (my unregistered practices was 15yers back, but I submitted my KSA services certificate to NMC) and I receive my CoS from my UK employer with in 30mts of time. These all procedures I done by myself, without any agent (even my UK job) also my Joining date probably will be last lug of OCT 2019.

Congratulations! Why is the joining date so late?

Can you please tell me how you went about securing a job offer without an agent. I don't feel supported by my current agency. I may either switch agencies or go it alone.

Any insight will be greatly appreciated.

My nmc portal shows documents received, does that mean my documents have been processed? Will it be possible to view to sent forms?
