UK NMC decision Letter stories, CoS stories and experiences
Updated: Published
So, I decided to start this thread so we can discuss our U.K. NMC decision letter stories as well as CoS and Tier 2 visa application in the year 2019. Especially with all the new updates and changes with the NMC for international registration and Brexit.
I joined the queue on the 20th of February and still waiting for my DL. I know it is still early. But these days, people have been testifying to getting it in less than 15 working days. I am really anxious. Anyone submitted around the time, and still waiting for their DL as well?
Glad I found this thread because I was wondering whether or not I should contact them. I don't understand being placed in the queue, so can someone explain it to me? Nonetheless, I submitted my application on Nov 10/2020 with my last document reaching them on Nov 11/2020. The problem I've had, however, is the fact that they have not properly updated the areas for each document submitted... well one in particular, verification from a second authority. I sent an email about a week from submitting and did not get a very helpful response. Just one emphasising I'll have to wait 40-60 working days for the application to be processed. Considering the three holidays the UK had in December, I'm expecting by this Thursday or Friday for an response.... if my calculation is right. I'm anxious but I'm also trying to be patient. Who has had or is having a similar experience with the process?

Hello dear
I was in the old process and my decision letter took 57 days. Just relax but call to make sure NMC has received all your documents and there is no problem with your application. Success going forward.
Unfortunately, there was an error in the system that did not allow me to download the verification forms with separate barcodes. As a result, having submitted these forms from two registration entities, they were logged into the system as an initial submission and then a resubmission which delayed the process for me. No one from the NMC signaled that that was the problem, even though I had reported prior to seeing three options to download the same form for the second verification agency. I was told after sending another email about two weeks ago, that my application was just placed in the queue. They also deleted the information that I input for the second registration authority from my application.... again, no notice, no explanation. I enquired if I had to wait another 40- 60 days. No one has answered me. So, this is my dilemma. I'm migrating in about a month to start my new job at Barchester and all I can do is wait for a favorable outcome.
Wish me luck, because clearly, I don't have any.
Phew! What a journey this has been. Since my last post, I haven't added any updates but I wish to share with you guys my current position with the NMC. At this moment, I'm awaiting my PIN. Some persons have been fortunate enough to receive theirs within 10 days, but it looks like I'll be awaiting the full 35 working days before I received mine. I've faced a lot of hurdles getting here. My intended trip within 1 month happened 6 months later. The covid situation was a major delay and sorting out my visa application was affected by having to acquire immigration documents for all of the countries I lived in. Travelling is beautiful until travelling delays but I'm here. Currently, I work as a pre-registered nurse and passed the OSCE after my second attempt. It had a lot to do with putting matters over mind as I was so nervous to the point that I was shaking but I went in with a winner mindset on my second appointment. To all of you trying to get through this process, remain encouraged. It's expensive and time consuming but the reward will be what you go after. Wishign everyone the very best. Fingers crossed for receiving my PIN very soon.
