  1. Any updates with DLs? It's quiet in here.
  2. What Agency are you with? I have the same issue, cancelled interviews. I think you should let the agency know that you would like to interview with another hospital. This whole process is long and quite frustrating so I'm sure they will understand that you are trying to look out for your best interests. Also, you're trying move forward with your life, if there is anyway you or they can expediate this process, go for it! I don't think it will appear unprofessional at all.
  3. I'm with GHR, imterested in Croydon University Hospital or a hospital near London.
  4. Can you please tell me how you went about securing a job offer without an agent. I don't feel supported by my current agency. I may either switch agencies or go it alone. Any insight will be greatly appreciated.
  5. My DL took 45 days including weekends, but I finally got it. The NMC required an additional document, like I stated previously. That's why it took longer. Not everyone takes this long each situation is different. Hopefully you will get yours in a shorter timeframe.
  6. It will come. Lol this will surely test your patience. My length of training was not indicated on my transcript or the form to accompany the transcript. So it had to be verified by my university. The NMC accepted a letter via an email to confirm the info.
  7. In my letter it stated the offer was valid for 1 year. I am 1 month short of 1 year but my recruiter stated the hospital was no longer issuing sponsorship letters.
  8. Thank you!!! Yes, more than a month. I had 1 set back, the NMC required additional documents. It took another 2 weeks after those were submitted.
  9. Thank you! I actually lost my job offer from the hospital in England because my process took a long time, almost a year now. I plan on interviewing for another hospital as soon as my recruiting company finds something suitable. I feel I should be more marketable especially having my DL in hand. I hope to be UK bound before Christmas.
  10. I just got my DL literally a few minutes ago!!!!!!!!! Queue date July 15th!!! I am so happy, thank God!!! I started out so well and then started to get so anxious. God is good!!!
  11. Queue date July 15th- On my 30th day August 15th, I received an update that I needed additional documents. I sent the info on August 16th, I called today to confirm that it was received. I was told the wait is the 30-60 days. So still awaiting my DL. I would say at least wait for the 30 days. Then go from there.
  12. Yes! I went to the university and spoke with someone in person. She was very helpful and sent the information that was required. So I will f/u on Monday with the NMC to confirm receipt of the info! Thank you for your suggestion as well. Now I wait ?
  13. I am still trying my best to get the necessary information, before I get back to the NMC. I'm sure there is SOMETHING that the university can do to assist me. Once I exhaust all avenues THEN I will call the NMC to tell them the outcome. Thank you so much for the suggestion.
  14. My queue date is July 15th. Today, I received an email requesting further information. Apparently, since I changed majors in college from Bio/Chem to Nursing, the NMC is requesting an emailed confirmation of the EXACT dates and length of time that I trained for nursing. I contacted my university, and they are saying they cannot help me with an email or even a letter confirming the time I trained. They said the info is on my transcript as well as the form to accompany the transcript. I am so frustrated. Because I know my DL is soo close! I'm going to the university tomorrow to see if they can help me, because my future is hinged on something as simple as an email : ( Anybody else have this issue?
  15. My queue date is July 16th. I'm still hoping it comes through today?. Super anxious waiting right now. I'm going to call the NMC just to make sure all is well with submission of my documents.
