UK NMC decision Letter stories, CoS stories and experiences
Updated: Published
So, I decided to start this thread so we can discuss our U.K. NMC decision letter stories as well as CoS and Tier 2 visa application in the year 2019. Especially with all the new updates and changes with the NMC for international registration and Brexit.
I joined the queue on the 20th of February and still waiting for my DL. I know it is still early. But these days, people have been testifying to getting it in less than 15 working days. I am really anxious. Anyone submitted around the time, and still waiting for their DL as well?

Don’t base your DL on the trends here. I know people who entered the queue a week or two before me, even a month before me, but I received my DL before they received theirs and some of them are still waiting.
To lessen the stress, set your mind to zero and every candidate has 30-60 days of waiting. And if you’re an expat, your DL may take more time (but that’s not always the case of course). Do NOT compare your timeline to others. It adds stress and anxiety. Call the NMC at least once a week. Even you already know what they will tell you, ring them. Do this, and the next thing you know, you already have an email about your DL when you least expect it.
Every delay happens with the permission of God. Waiting could be painful. Just trust His timing.

Probably I became frustrated because I really expected so much that my DL will arrive today. Anyway, yes, there is still plenty of time to wait. Who knows, my application must have reached their cut off for the day.
Anyway, thank you for the advice. I'm trying so hard to keep my mind off of worrying about my DL but all I end up doing is keep on refreshing my e-mail for about an hour already haha
Yes, this delay must have been God's will. Thanks again.

Hope everyone's doing well. ?
Not dl related, I just wanna ask how long does it take to get the visa once you got your cert of sponsorship?
Aside from the cert, what other documents do they need for the visa processing?
Thanks much. ?
If you are from the Philippines, they will ask you for these papers:
- NBI clearance (And all other police clearances from the countries where you have worked)
- PRC board certificate (your home country registration certificate
- Birth certificate and marriage contract (if applicable)
- Transcript of Record
- valid and old passports (sometimes they ask for this, dunno why)
- IELTS TRF
- BSN diploma
- NMC decision letter
- IOM (TB SCREENING) certificate

Relax. We have different processing periods for each individual and some take longer than others. Do a follow up after 45 days. God knows what happened to the papers of some of the applicants. This NMC frequently misplaces documents.

I'm trying to really stop myself from checking my email once in a while but I thought I need to because I might have a feedback in my application and so, I could quickly remedy any lacking documents I need to submit. But the wait is forever maddening. Lol
Any July 26 onwards queue date who already got their DL?

When is your queue date? I don't have an idea which is best for single parents in the UK but based on my research, Derby and Sunderland have low cost of living.

I have tried calling multiple times but it's not reachable. Please any other number I can call. Thank you
