NMC Decision Letter 2016

Published

Hi! Anyone here who knows how long it takes for the NMC to release a decision letter on your application, as I am anxiously waiting for mine for a little over a month now.

thanks!

Hello guys, just want to ask where did you take your varicella and mmr titer blood test? How much did you pay for it? Thank you!

Hi! been reading the thread and i am actually waiting for my DL as well. It was noted that my documents were received last sept 1 and until now no email from NMC.but the "open" button on the submitted document went missing for 4 days now...what does that mean?

Hello. NMC is probably assessing your documents now. I experienced the same thing and called NMC. They informed me that my assessor is already going through my files and after 2 days, I already receive a feedback. You may also want to call NMC just to make sure.

Hi maj_omanfil based on your name you are from omanfil if it is indeed your medical should be agency sponsored and the clinic would be on sm lazo in taft nakpil street. I am from Ipams my medical was done on the same clinic and I saw a separate results section for omanfil in there, better ask your agency to confirm though.

Hi Maj, this is from Omanfil.

We could not find a clinic that will do the following except in Manila at ST. Lukes. If you find a hospital that caters please let us know. We are still looking for other options

IGRA, Quantiferon PHP7452.

MMR vaccines have the following tests:

Mumps igG – cost is PHP3119

Rubella igG – cost is PHP4674

Rubeola igG – cost is PHP6015

VCV igG – cost is 3119

But my wife was advised to not to proceed yet with the lab tests because Omanfil Manila is negotiating with the NHS. I hope, they will not push through with these tests.

Hi! Congratulations to all who are advancing in the process! I am bound to Addenbrooke's Hospital like some and under Omanfil Cebu. I am still waiting for my DL and I entered queue last Sept 15. Can i ask for co-Omanfil applicants for necessary documents to submit or needed after receiving DL? Atleast i can divert my anxiety (waiting for my DLí ½í¸…) to prepare and gather these docs for the next steps... Thank you and God bless us all!

I guess once your assessor has direct communication with you and there are no other barcoded forms to be sent it would only take a few days and you will receive your decision letter.

Thanks for the positive vibe but how I wish that really was the case. It has been 9 working days since we last contacted each other and I have yet to receive my DL or any feedback. Really hoping to get something tonight or by Monday already.

I sent you a PM. Let's keep each other posted on FB since we have the same case. :)

Helo Xtingonz,

Thank you for the response! I'm also waiting for my cos. By the way, what is your agency and trust?

Actually, i'm already done with the medical test in Sm Lazo. Then, i was informed by my agency that there's an additional test to be done at St Lukes, QC which are the ff: igra quantiferon test, mmr and varicella titer. I just don't know if these are also required in other nhs before getting their COS.

I see well I think your case is isolated wherein your trust was the one who required it. If the trust is the one requesting I believe they should be the one paying for it. Maybe you can negotiate with them about funding based on the feedback it is gonna pricey.

Hi caramel02, unfortunately all my baby records got ruined due to Typhoon Yolanda :( I'm trying to find my pedia's previous clinic as they may have a copy of my immunization record. I'm not really sure what to do next if my search comes up empty :(

Yes I also heard that Addenbrooke's is toxic in some areas due to it being a major trauma centre, I heard from an acquaintance who just recently started working there (theatre) that the trust is supportive of work-life balance and they have a really good OSCE program. I think we'll do fine, we excelled in our work environment here, I'm sure we'll do the same there.

Omanfil has been mum about my actual deployment date so far so I'm relying on news from people here in the forum about tentative dates of their departure. They said we should wait for my DL first. Will the Trust only start your CoS application upon your receipt of the DL? I'm a bit confused as I've read here that some people were able to wait for their DL while in the UK already.
