Hi! Anyone here who knows how long it takes for the NMC to release a decision letter on your application, as I am anxiously waiting for mine for a little over a month now.

thanks!

Hi, anyone here from IPAMS (CTN)? I've read most are from OMANFIL... I was wondering how long does it take for them to grant the CoS?

Hi! I am under Ipams-CTN!í ½í¸¬... CoS is a bit beyond my reach as of now as I have just entered the qeue.

COS for Omanfil and ASC usually takes 1-2 weeks .. but their are times it depends on your trust

Where are you bound to in uk?Good luck and God bless on your DL. í ½í±Œ

I think IPAMS takes a little longer...its been 2 weeks now and I havent had any updates about my CoS... lucky for those in omanfil and asc..

Hi! Congratulations to all who are advancing in the process! I am bound to Addenbrooke's Hospital like some and under Omanfil Cebu. I am still waiting for my DL and I entered queue last Sept 15. Can i ask for co-Omanfil applicants for necessary documents to submit or needed after receiving DL? Atleast i can divert my anxiety (waiting for my DL) to prepare and gather these docs for the next steps... Thank you and God bless us all!

Hi Irenjazzel! I'm also an Addenbrooke's candidate, but I'm from Chesham Recruitment, that's a good idea for you to gather all the requirements for the certificate of sponsorship while waiting for your DL so that as soon as you receive it, you can submit the documents right away to the CUH. By the way my agency required me to submit Red Ribbon certified TOR,RLE,Diploma and license. That would take a few weeks so it is better for you to process those papers now. However since we have a different agency I am not sure if we got the same requiements.

Hi caramel02, unfortunately all my baby records got ruined due to Typhoon Yolanda :( I'm trying to find my pedia's previous clinic as they may have a copy of my immunization record. I'm not really sure what to do next if my search comes up empty :(

Yes I also heard that Addenbrooke's is toxic in some areas due to it being a major trauma centre, I heard from an acquaintance who just recently started working there (theatre) that the trust is supportive of work-life balance and they have a really good OSCE program. I think we'll do fine, we excelled in our work environment here, I'm sure we'll do the same there.

Omanfil has been mum about my actual deployment date so far so I'm relying on news from people here in the forum about tentative dates of their departure. They said we should wait for my DL first. Will the Trust only start your CoS application upon your receipt of the DL? I'm a bit confused as I've read here that some people were able to wait for their DL while in the UK already.

my agency told me that just in case that the lose my yellow immunization card I could just ask a pediatrician to write a medical certificate and a new record for me. About the DL, yes of course DL is actually one of the requirements for your CoS. I have the time table of the deployment dates for CUH candidates. I am not sure if this also applicable with you but you could send my via private message your e-mail address or facebook name so that I could send forward it to you.

Hi caramel02!

thank you for the response! I had previously done DFA certification of my docs wayback 2015 i guess. would they require me to do it in recent date? or i can still use those red ribbon certified docs? by the way, do you have your deployment date? God bless!

hi caramel02!

Thank you for the response! i will try to ask my agency about this. With regards to immunization records, would it require ONLY a pediatrician to make a new baby book (since i lost mine) or can i ask a IM doctor instead to make for me? by the way when is your deployment date? congrats in advance! God bless!

Hi caramel02!

Thank you for the response! I will ask my agency about this because I have had mine done in 2015, hopefully they will accept it. Regarding immunization records, can it ONLY be done by a pediatrician or can i ask an IM doc to do it since i lost my baby book? By the way when is your deployment date? Congrats and God bless!

Hi there anyone from Ipams Gloucestershire NHS?,I just recently entered the queue last Friday (20th). Good luck to all of us :)

Most probably those papers of yours on hand will do as long as you have not used them yet for any other application. But it would be much better if you will clarify this with your agency. Regarding my deployment, initially my start date in my COS was 6 November 2017. However I had some delays in relation to my IOM tb cleance so for sure it will be moved back for more weeks or months. Speaking of, you may ask your agent if you could also undergo the tb testing in IOM now or sooner (especially if you had a history of respiratory problem such as ptb) because it will certainly be a cause of delay if you wouldn't get your clearance right away.

Ps. Would you mind if I ask you to send me via private message your name in facebook? I hope we could keep posted for updates since we're both CUH Addenbrooke's candidates. 😊
