NMC Decision Letter 2016

Published

Hi! Anyone here who knows how long it takes for the NMC to release a decision letter on your application, as I am anxiously waiting for mine for a little over a month now.

thanks!

Yeah that is the one lucky thing about my application. I received two emails, one from NMC and one from my assessor but both emails talked about the same thing. I hope all of us August peeps will get our DLs soon. I'm getting more and more worried with each passing day especially since a few people already got theirs.

Yeah. Each passing day seems like forever. Let's keep each other posted. Hope to receive our DL soon.

Yeah I wouldn't mind. Just let me know what your FB is or something and I'll add :)

Hai guys.. Is there anyone who will be deployed to leicester city.... I am waiting for my cos... My agency is not giving me a proper date of my deployment...

Hi everybody! Congrats to those who got their COS!

I also sent an email to omanfil regarding tentative deployment date (for Addenbrooke's), and they did say that November will be the last month for this year for deployment.

I was wondering what you submitted to omanfil regarding your immunisation record? They were asking me for it, unfortunately, I couldn't find my baby book containing my immunisation info. It said on the instruction from King's Commercial to submit an Immunisation Record to include Mantoux, BCG, MMR1&2, Varicella, Hep B, Hep C, HIV 1&2. I asked for a template but they said they don't have one. I'm just confused since my friends who are under ASC and Abba are not required to pass a document like that. Although they were tasked to get their Hepa titers. Hope you can help me out on this fellow omanfil applicants!

Nursevirg,

The yellow card ( under five child growth clinic) the one the your mother brings whenever you receive your vaccination when you were an infant will do. Btw I'm also an Addenbrooke's applicant. In surgical ward.

Hi caramel02, wow you're so lucky to receive your CoS immediately. I don't know what happened in mine why it is taking so long. I will discuss it with my agency again. Also I do not need to do any medical or TB testing as I am not residing in the Philippines. I am living here in the UAE and applicants coming from here are not required to undergo any TB tests or medical.

Aww I envy you. This tb clearance it totally stressful. Yes I received my CoS quite early but unfortunately, it will already be expired by the time that I get my tb clearance on December. I am not sure if it will be renewed or I would be needing to submit another application for COS

Hello caramel02, actually we have the same situation and it's really frustrating at first. I entered remedical after my treatment and the result was released after 9 weeks (good to know there is no growth). Right after that, they released my iom certificate. I thought everything will be fine after that, but now my NHS requires IGRA (Interferon Gamma Release Assay) which is a blood test to detect presence or immune response to TB. I just don't know if history of ptb treatment will yield to positive result too. I'm still waiting for my cos and looking forward to the visa processing right after. Would you mind if I'll send a personal message to you? what is your email-ad?

Hello maj_omanfil! I tried to send you a private message but I'm aftaid I am just a new user so I am not allowed to do so. Anyway, here are my thoughts;

Actually, I already had my treatment a year ago, ptb was seen in my chest xray when I had my medical as I applied for a nursing job in the KSA. So I finished a six month treatment and declared to be healed and treated by my pulmonologist. And now, knowing that European countries accept applicants with tb scar I did not hesitate to take the IELTS and all the other requirements. I received my decision letter within 60 calendar days. Thereafter after 15 days I also received my CoS. Unfortunately, despite the fact that I brought all of my previous xrays and medical certificate in the IOM, they still required me to do the sputum exam to make sure that the scar they saw is no longer active. And now, this is the third week of my waiting for the result. I am hoping and praying that there will be no growth so that I can proceed with th visa processing. Regarding the IGRA, so far my agency have not required me to undergo that test yet. By the way, is IGRA a requirement of your agency prior to the issuance of your COS? Another question 😁, did it really take exactly 9 weeks before you got your tb clearance? One last question 😅 what's your name in facebook? Can you please send it to me visa private message so that we'll get to communicate better there 😊.

Hi nursevirg, BSN, RN! I'm allso an Addenbrooke's candidate here! But I'm under CPL Healthcate. An email from CUH was forwarded to me by my agent and it says there that the next deployment would be on 4 January ( for those who can comply with the requirements by 25 October). But in my case, I guess I would be able to submit by IOM tb clearance by December so most probably (according to the time table sent to me from CUH) my deployment would be on 1 March 2018. Well, this is only based on what has been sent to my agent, I am not sure if this also applies to you. I think we will be co-workers in Addenbrooke's :), however I heard that it is really toxic there, but one of the best hospitals in the UK. TOP 5 to be exact.

ps. I am not sure if my agency would also ask me to do the IGRA. But so far they have not mentioned that to me yet.

Hi there! I was placed on queue last August 16 and still haven't gotten my DL. An assessor did email me and wanted me to clarify something last October 9 and I resubmitted my application that same day. Hoping it doesn't mean another 40 working days of waiting! Hope all of us who queued in August will get our DLs this month because the anxiety is killing me!

I guess once your assessor has direct communication with you and there are no other barcoded forms to be sent it would only take a few days and you will receive your decision letter.

Hi! been reading the thread and i am actually waiting for my DL as well. It was noted that my documents were received last sept 1 and until now no email from NMC.but the "open" button on the submitted document went missing for 4 days now...what does that mean?
