NMC Decision Letter 2016

Published

Hi! Anyone here who knows how long it takes for the NMC to release a decision letter on your application, as I am anxiously waiting for mine for a little over a month now.

thanks!

Hi guys, do you have any idea if Certificate of Employment (COE) is required in the visa application or it is just a supporting document? I'm still waiting for my Cos and visa appointment anytime soon. However, i'm quite bothered that I may not be able to present a COE because the hospital I'm currently working would like to file a 1 month notice before they can issue one. Do you have any lists of the requirements for processing the visa? Thank you!

I think we do not need the COE for VISA , tho you need to have a copy of your COE when u will be deployed since they will be checking that.

Anyone here waiting for COS ? mine was applied last Oct. 5 . I'm not really sure if I can make it for Novemeber 23 deployment . Fingers crossed!

Helo Xtingonz,

Thank you for the response! I'm also waiting for my cos. By the way, what is your agency and trust?

Thank you so much Maj. In the case of my wife, possible deployment will be Jan 26. They just emailed us today.😊

Are you asking me? Not yet. How about you? When were you put on queue?

The HR of my NHS trust just informed me last night that they had my COS filed and approved even without my DL. I'm just relieved because that means as soon as my DL is released we can get the ball rolling for visa application. I'm really hoping my DL will be released soon. 🙏🏻

That's a good news.. May I ask which is your agency. How did you contact your nhs. Or were you in constant touch with them since you got offer.

My agency is based in the UK. I'm under HAYS. They have been in contact with me from the start. They hired me while I was in the states last March (I was there for a vacation). I changed my agency, I did not follow through with my old one and by God's provision and sheer luck, I stumbled upon HAYS. They keep me posted every week since then. They have been really patient and supportive. I guess what's good with having an agency directly based in the Uk is that I also have a first hand communication with my NHS Trust.

Hello future UK RNs! I heard a lot of not really good things about Coventry and Warwickshire from nurses who worked there, particularly the Emergency department. So, heads up.

Hai guys... I want to tell you all that I received dl today after 52 days in Queue... Thank you all for your support... By God's grace you all will get it very soon...

Helo guys, just want to ask if COE is needed for the visa processing? I don't have my coe yet since the hospital I'm working for requires me to render my resignation 1 month ahead before the effective date. I have my DL already yet still no updates regarding my COS. I don't know want to resign unless i'm sure that i have my cos and visa appointment date already. Kindly advise me on the what's the best thing to do. Thank you guys :)

It is needed for visa application, it will be under the employment evidences.
