NMC Decision Letter 2016

Published

Hi! Anyone here who knows how long it takes for the NMC to release a decision letter on your application, as I am anxiously waiting for mine for a little over a month now.

thanks!

Hi hilaw21! My employer is also CTN under IPAMS. How's your waiting for your DL? Hope you'll get good news soon.

Hi hilaw21 and ctnipams. I am also with CTN/IPAMS. How's the process going. Received my DL last July 31.

Owww. This post made me more anxious. I am also under CTN. And right now I am also waiting for my COS

There might be a chance that your agency are waiting for the others, collecting it to send it once to the office that awards COS's that is just my opinion better ask your employer in UK.

I hope that would really be the reason! Thanks Lukecerdz

Which hospital are you lined up for?

Madi17 and I share the same situation. We've been waiting for the COS since late June. I don't think they do the "pooling" thing though because they actually applied for my COS last July that simply boiled down to a PENDING status on the SMS application. They tried again this August and until now, they still don't have any update. They told me that the delay is solely down to the UK government, thus they do not really have control over the COS release, making the wait more frustrating. :(

Hi Atyourshervice, I am under Addenbrooke's hospital. How about you? Did CTN also required you to finish the mandatory trainings? Thanks. Btw, what trust you are under to?

Yup. Already done with that. I guess we are undergoing the exact same situation! Perhaps you can join us, Madi17, in our FB chat so we can discuss our sentiments further? Hahaha Sher Cruz here ;)

Hi @JJ1005 I didn't receive any email from NMC about my assessor. I am currently based here in Dubai, UAE. Here is my timeline:

October 29- Passed IELTS UKVI

March 14- Passed CBT

May 17- Put on NMC assessment queue

July- NMC asked for additional requirement

August 9- Re entered the assessment queue

I am not quite sure why it was not indicated on your feedback. Just keep the faith, as long you complied with their requested docs i guess everything will go well. In due time your DL will arrive. The waiting is really frustrating but in the end we all know it will arrive. My additional docs is still in process of being sent to NMC through post mail. í ½í¸Š

Hello! Have you received your DL? What's the status of your application after you sent the letter through email?

Hi addenurse27! Still waiting for my DL. The requested docs NMC asked for was just sent through post mail today. I guess it will take 1-2 weeks to be posted on my NMC account. Hoping that the re-assessment of my application won't take long. How about you any update on your DL?

Hi genetorres! Haven't received my DL yet. Maybe we could talk in fb messenger donna llana tala santos.

Hello everyone! Anyone here from IPAMS HCL permanent?

Hi all,

I'm also in the same boat, I can't understand why does the NMC take so long to assess documents(after writing 2 exams), it's been close to 30 days since I submitted my documents. When i called them they said im in the assement q (guys those guys really dont check if your documents are correct or not in the portal) it's when the officer checks the docs **** hits the fan and we go back in the q.So keep checking with them.I wish they add certain features to their portal so applicant can know whats going on.The most crucial one I feel is an approx timeline for the assessment or when the application is going to be assesed.90% of our anxiouty is the fact that we dont whts up witht the application.

NMC would save them selfs a lot of phone calls if they create a provision in their portal.

I feel they should also create a provision for urgent verification or fast verification for a fee, I think most of us would pay and get the docs moving rather wait like this with out any satisfactory knowledge of whats going on.

off late, it's news that a lot of people are leaving the register on one side and a nursing shortage crises on the other to add insult to injury it takes a long time for the DL.

Like really!!
