NMC Decision Letter 2016

Hi! Anyone here who knows how long it takes for the NMC to release a decision letter on your application, as I am anxiously waiting for mine for a little over a month now.

Yes my agency is Omanfil í ½í¸„ Boy am I glad to read your comment. Hopefully, we will meet in person soon, it looks like we will be having the same departure date. Let's pray for a lenient assessor so we wouldn't have to go through another round of paper work.

My health declaration was also filled up by our ER doctor and it was okay. I already received my DL and my assessor just asked for my CV since they want to check on my employment gap. If I'm not mistaken, I read it here somewhere that there was a question on the declaration of health asking if he or she is related with the applicant, they answered yes and it was questioned by the assessor. Maybe, what's important is, that the doctor should not related to you.

Hi guys, thank you for all the information you posted, it was comforting to know that almost all of us are experiencing the same. I have entered the queue last June 26, 2017, and I am still waiting for my DL. It is my 48th day today and it will be the 40th business day on Friday. I just want to ask if any of you experienced an occasion where they ask for you to resubmitt the declaration of good health? I had my declaration of good health be filled up by an ER doctor to where I previously worked. My agency told me that it might not be accepted because the doctor is working in the same hospital as I did, and the NMC might assume that it was fabricated. Did it happen to any of you.

I am expecting that they might ask me to resubmitt that. I have prepared myself for the long wait before I get my DL, but I am really curious if it really happens.

By the way my timeline is

March 29 passed IELTS

May 1 employed by KCH

May 10 passed my CBT

June 19 all requirements received by NMC

June 26 all requirements reflected in the portal (meaning queue started)

Hi anyone here underwent the direct-hire process? Is it possible to tap an agency in the Philippines only on the POEA part?

Hello again,

I would like to ask if there is anyone here who were initially put on queue but NMC asked for additional requirements? Upon completing the additional requirements and been put on queue once again, did you wait for another 70 days?

I've been asked for additional documents by the NMC and I re-entered the assessment queue last August 9. My first assessment queue was on May 17. I don't know how long will I wait for the re-assessment.

Hi ghing0293! I have the same situation as you. I was asked to resubmit a new reference form since my senior charge nurse somehow forgot to put the ending date of my employment. I just got in the queue again (a week or two ago) and until now, I have not received any reply from them. I hope we don't have to wait too long to get our DLs. Are you based in the Philippines now?

Hi everyone... Ive got a feedback on my application just tonight and NMC is asking to send another Employment Reference Form 1 to be completed by a senior medical practitioner who has supervised me. All my referees are medical practitioner, the only problem I got is the title of my other referee does not indicate "Nurse or Nursing". Does this mean I have to go through the whole process of waiting for the Decision Letter? It took almost 2 months for the feedback to arrive, and the worst part is I have already rendered my resignation. :(

Has anyone got the same situation where NMC asked for another form to be re-sent? Thanks

What was the job title of your referee? Mine was a prinicipal investigator who is a doctor by profession since my experience is in clinical research but I'm still waiting for my DL. Now, this makes me worried too. However, one of my friends told me that doctors can be your referees as long as they directly supervised you and some did and already received their DLs. Maybe, this goes to show that your fate truly depends on your assessor.

hi everyone! i finally received my decision letter. as i have previously mentioned i got on queu june 2,2017. nmc gave me a feedback on the 26th of july asking me to re-submit a new declaration of good health. the new dgh was received by the nmc last august 2 and by august 9 they tagged it as document received in my portal then finally on the 14th of august i got my dl! for those who were asked to re-submit their document. give nmc a ring to prompt them. i called them from time to time and it worked. it's a long wait but i know this is worth it. so more patience guys, your dl will arrive too. i guess the wait is longer but it will definitely arrive.
