Hi! Anyone here who knows how long it takes for the NMC to release a decision letter on your application, as I am anxiously waiting for mine for a little over a month now.
thanks!
I had the form filled up by a physician at my current work employment. This caused me the confusion since it was stated at the nmc portal to have it filled up by the current employer. The agency also instructed the same. But i got a feedback from the assessor himself to resubmit a new one and he said the form should not be completed by a physician from your current/previous employment.
I have read about the correct way of filling it up only in the forums and it was too late already since im in que. And as I haveexpected,i was asked to resubmit one.
So who is at fault now?
But i never mind what happened, all i want is to comply and to finish this all.
Omg. Now im anxious again. My declaration of health was filled out by our employee health clinic consultant, that means i have to resubmit for the 3rd time.
Check your nmc portal. This is what it states for the declaration of good health:
"The declaration of good health must be completed by your medical practitioner or the occupational health department at your current employer. The declaration must be no more than three months old at the time the application for registration is submitted. If expired, the application will not be processed and we will ask you to provide current documents."
Now the assessment officer's feedback to me: i will copy and paste here:
" Dr. Xxxx has advised he has employed you previously. Good health declaration has to be given by General practitioner who is not your relative and who is not your current/previous employer and should have examined you in the last 6 months. Please download and resubmit Supporting Declaration of Good Health and send to us by post in original within 3 months of issue."
Then i forwarded the assessment officer feedback to my agency and this is what they replied:
"I trust you have resolved this since, it must be by an independent Doctor, not anyone who states they work with you/are related"
GP or consultant doctor it does not matter. The second paper of the declaration form had a question of 'have you previously employed this..blah blah'.. That should be ticked "NO".
The thing is, i had the form filled up by our physician at my current employment, ticked YES and inserted the form in our own envelop with a printed name of my hospital employer and that was what i sent to London.
Now i was asked to get a new one.
Dont be anxious. You will be ok.
Hi! Is there anyone here who applied for UK visa in UAE?
Hi there. I'm here in UAE and about to process my visa. Do you mind if we exhange contacts? [email protected]
Waiting is indeed a test of patience.
It is! I've resigned from saudi since april 8 and I was expecting to be deployed on June but then the last document that was sent by my agency was received april 6 and showed on my portal last april 8. I'm a bit upset though because I submitted my online portal on may 13 and had all my documents express delivered but only the document sent by my agency took a month to get to London. It's been 47 days and I still haven't received my DL. I'm running out of money. ðŸ˜

This situation is hard. This is one of the reason why we need to keep our jobs while doing this process.. You have to beat time and the possibility of not running out of money. Hang in there! You will get by for sure
