Hi! Anyone here who knows how long it takes for the NMC to release a decision letter on your application, as I am anxiously waiting for mine for a little over a month now.

I actually have my COS already but I don't have my dl yet.

Hey princeasog! No news yet on my DL. Im not stressing about it anymore. LOL.

Thats good. I actually have a few friends from Omanfil who were able to go to the UK without their DL.

How were they able to work without the DL? Band 3 HCA?

Isn't everyone on this pathway going to work as band 3 until they pass the OSCE?

I think, from what I gathered. Even if you have your DL your work band when you get to the UK is band 3. Once you pass the OSCE then the employee will be upgraded to band 5. From what i hear, there are some differences in upgrading of the employee's band in some trust. Other trust prefer to wait for the PIN number prior upgrading while some automatically upgrades their staff to band 5 even without their PIN.

In my opinion, getting a DL or not getting a DL prior to flying to UK to work has its pros and cons. As to what they are, its a long list and its better if you do some research.

I am currently waiting for my Decision Letter. NMC received my docs last May 4 and it was posted as document received on May 9. Moving forward, I would like to prepare my docs for Visa processing. Can anyone help me what docs I need to prepare? Do I need another set of TOR and RLE?tnx

Hi everyone. I just want to ask if it's ok to send all the forms and documents to the nmc even if I still did not click the submit button in my portal? I am still waiting for my NBI Clearance to be released after a week. I got a hit during my application at NBI. thank you.

Yes it ok. What's important is that you have sent or uploaded all the necessary document needed before you click the submit button. Otherwise, if you already submitted and missed to upload a document it can delay your application to up to 2 months.

Hi rozy123! If you submitted your application you won't be able to edit or add documents in case you forgot some documents to upload. You will wait for the assesor to check your application which is taking 2 months now. If you have a missing document you will need to resubmit your application which mean you are back to queue or another 2 months.
