Hi! Anyone here who knows how long it takes for the NMC to release a decision letter on your application, as I am anxiously waiting for mine for a little over a month now.
thanks!
Hi! My documents were in the assessment cue last March 12...still waiting for the dl. My two friends in the UK told me that it took them 3 weeks for the decision letter to arrive.
I hope everything goes well for everyone! I'm quite nervous though if I gef asked to resubmit my documents!
Godspeed everyone!
Did they say how many days you have to wait again? My friend just forgot to mention that I need to include my final exit visa with the police clearance. I'm planning to have my agency in UK call NMC if there's still a chance I could include the exit visa before my application get assessed. I hope they will consider í ½í¸”
Princesog, I emailed them after I re-submitted my application on April 24 and got the same reply from NMC to wait 60 days etc. So there is no definite date set when the assessor will check back on my papers again.
You can always try to contact your agency and let them speak to the NMC if they will open your online application for you to get your Exit Visa uploaded. If that doesn't work, I'm afraid you'll have to wait for your application to get assessed. Were you able to get all your arabic documents translated? By all I mean ( Saudi police clearance, SCFHS cert, exit stamp and Visa) all translated documents must also include a translator's declaration certificate attached to the original docs.
Hello! I've been following this thread for some time now because I am in the same boat as you guys.
My timeline:
Aug 2016 - passed ukvi ielts
Sept 2016 - passed Nhs hosp employer skype interview
Nov 2016 - passed cbt
End of Nov to Early march 2017 - docs gathered
March 15 - placed on assessment que
(After all the hassle and IT glitch with nmc)
I am also anxiously waiting for my decision letter and I am still on current contract working here in Saudi Arabia. My end of contract here was on April 23,2017 and I decided to extend my stay until I get to the visa stage. (My work manager agreed to stay until i get the UK visa)
I am not with the agency located in Philippines. I contacted one located in Ireland and has an extension office in UK so I suppose this is a direct hire.
Has anyone of you has the same case as mine? I am thinking of not going on exit without the decision letter. I also have limited knowledge of doing this on my own. Actually im weighing pros and cons about my situation now because they said that it is much easier to go direct to UK from my place rather than going back to Philippines and undergo all the poea and owwa process. (Middle east is exempted from medical tb tests too i think) I suppose I am gonna arranged visa too on my own.
But the more I am in this waiting game, the more I get exhausted and burned out from work. I have read here that others that was put on que mid March received their decision letters already. I am still waiting for mine until now.. How long would it take the cert of sponsorship once you have the nmc decision letter? Do you guys have an idea?
Yeah, so I emailed NMC last wk right? Up until yesterday I didn't receive a reply from NMC so, I decided to call them instead. What happened was I basically told them the content of my email that I have started my full assessment since Jan 2017 and have been in queue since Feb. 20. I also told them that my UKVI IELTS will expire this Aug that is the reason why I need to get my DL. This will allow me to get a good use of my UKVI ILETS and not take another exam just for the VISA. The personnel I talked to put me on hold thrice. The entire call lasted for 20 mins and the only useful info I got out of that phone call is that my assessor is not due to be back in 2 wks and that my application is ready for assessment. Forgive me with this next comment but I thought first world countries had a more systematic approach, but what's the use of my application being ready when my assessor is not even there!?! Yikes!
After that phone call, I received a reply on my email last wk that it will be forwarded to the "managers".
Yep, I guess they took my concern as a complaint. I'm not entirely sure. Either way im expecting to get a more detailed info on the status of my application and why its taken so long. Im still waiting for the manager's response.

Hi! I exited Saudi last July 2015. The reason that NMC asked for my exit stamp is because the police clearance that I uploaded in my portal was the one I had before I exited KSA(ie. its expired). Im just a little bit anxious because my UKVI IELTS will expire August of this year. Im doing everything that I can to hasten my application so that I can have my VISA before my UKVI expires. I emailed NMC basically with the same content with what I wrote here but nicer. Fingers-crossed, I hope it works.
