Hi everyone,
I am a registered nurse in the Philippines and now working as an Intensive Care Unit Nurse here in Saudi Arabia for almost two years.
I am planning to move my nursing career further in Ireland. I have paid the €350 assessment fee with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI) and the accounts department already provided me with a pin and advised me to wait for the delivery of my application pack.
The assessment fee was processed since April 17, 2015. I just wonder about how long it would take me to receive the application pack here in Saudi Arabia.
I hope that someone could help me. I'm so excited to process my application for Registration with NMBI.
Thanks.
DELAYED DECISION LETTER UPDATE
Guys my decision letter was issued on 25th of Aug but my agency didn't receive it till now.
Yesterday I Got an update from my Agent that NMBI will resent the DL again and she will receive it shortly.
Regarding Adaptation, She said there will more batches if they have sufficient candidates, Again a bit of hope to leave soon :)
Hi! @Kayjay RN According to my gf the next adaptation will be on January since she could not make it this december.
Do you guys know when will her queue start all her documents was received by nmbi on the 14th and it seems the online tracker does not reflect any of the sent docs even though the first docs which the PRC arrived on the 4th?
Many thanks
Hi Stella I'm really sorry for your loss. Please be strong. @ rassel4U I haven't received my decision letter and I called NMBI, they told me it was sent on the 25th of August. However, my local post office hasn't received any thing. Sincerely, I'm fed up with this delay.
@vera007,
Hi, did you put an Irish Address or your home country address? In case of home country address, it may take a while to reach, but you should call and follow-up with NMBI,Incase of the latter, to esnure its arrival or request a reissue .

Thanks rassel. Well I did contact NMBI and they told me another letter was reissued on the 14th of Sept. So I'm anxiously waiting, usually it takes 12 days for it to arrive to my country.
Hi everyone,
I'm Cherish and from Malaysia, just wondering is there any Malaysian nurses currently looking for a placement in Ireland? Or, is everyone having an issue on finding a hospital for placement?
My recruitment agent told me that there's no vacancy in Dublin. I'm a bit worry, I got my decision letter last month (September).
Thanks everyone!

Hi Cherish from Malaysia, as far I know Dublin has stopped hiring nurses for the reason that they are prioritising locals for the job. In relation to it most of the nurses here in the Philippines supposedly deployed to dublin has been transferred to hospitals in Irish provinces. Since you have a DL already I suggest that you try applying to a different hospital.

No placement, no salary deduction. In our case they have given us 2000 euros moving allowance, we can spend for house for 2 months
