Hi everyone,

I am a registered nurse in the Philippines and now working as an Intensive Care Unit Nurse here in Saudi Arabia for almost two years.

I am planning to move my nursing career further in Ireland. I have paid the €350 assessment fee with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI) and the accounts department already provided me with a pin and advised me to wait for the delivery of my application pack.

The assessment fee was processed since April 17, 2015. I just wonder about how long it would take me to receive the application pack here in Saudi Arabia.

I hope that someone could help me. I'm so excited to process my application for Registration with NMBI.

@psychebelle my girlfriend is bound for limerick? how about you? I just recently sent all of her documents to NMBI, so I am hoping her decision letter would be available next month.

I just completed sending all her documents today, I also ask her about that but she said she will just ask both abba and kate-cowhig when her DL comes. Do you guys know when will her documents reflect on her nmbi account. Thanks!

I agree, their timeline for the DL and AWTS varies. It might take shorter or longer for some.

@Stellarinurse, give 4 or 5 days before calling NMBI, like what CarloMarcos said. :)

@lukecerdz, for every document that's not yet reflected in the system, give it 15 working days. She'll need tons of patience at this stage. ^^ Once NMBI already received all of the documents, it might change to "further information required", (depending if they have any clarifications about her documents). From further info required, it will change to assessment (4 to 6 weeks, lots of patience too!), then decision pending (3 to 5 days to receive the DL), last is adaptation secured (approximately 2 weeks). She will also pay about 16k to 18k pesos to Kate Cowhig for the AWTS.

The Agency will not sponsor the payment for Atypical Working Scheme but it will be reimbursed by your employer once you are in Ireland.

Correct me if I'm wrong guys, but I think ATWS is like a work permit in Ireland. As for ATWS, it takes about 2 weeks to one month to process that. It is one of the requirements for the visa. Just a heads up, the payment for visa is around 5k (yes! another hole in the pocket). You'll have to shoulder that too. I'm not sure if the visa will be reimbursed though.

Try Serviecon, I applied there before and their nursing home is under Willis group.

Thank you so much. It's really a difficult time for our family but We are trying to be strong. Are they asking for placement fee or salary deductions?
