I am a registered nurse in the Philippines and now working as an Intensive Care Unit Nurse here in Saudi Arabia for almost two years.
I am planning to move my nursing career further in Ireland. I have paid the €350 assessment fee with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI) and the accounts department already provided me with a pin and advised me to wait for the delivery of my application pack.
The assessment fee was processed since April 17, 2015. I just wonder about how long it would take me to receive the application pack here in Saudi Arabia.
I hope that someone could help me. I'm so excited to process my application for Registration with NMBI.

I got my offer letter last August 2016, unfortunately, I need to retake the IELTS twice and was able to get the needed scores last March just when my offer letter was about to expire. I have a colleague who is under DATHS and she's been waiting for her DL since March.

Please tell your colleague to follow up NMBI by calling them. Lately, NMBI is very swift in issuing DLs that I know about 5 people that received theirs in 4-5 weeks.
I am on my process of the Application pack. I'm a bit worried because I am currently working in a dental clinic, then I made the head dentist sign the employer reference form and not a nurse manager etc... Would that be fine?
I think this is the first time that it happened to the 4 DATHs (St Vincents, St James, Mater Misericordiae, and Beaumont). Tallaght, since last year, has been having problems with it. Plenty of their interviewed nurses that were affected waited for a long time. The good thing with Chesham/CPL though is that they are connected with Naas General Hospital (about 30mins west of Dublin) which takes in those nurses that got delayed.
If your coworkers are willing to work outside Dublin, my agency KCR has plenty of listings posted. They don't need to go to Abba just to get interviewed because KCR offers skype interviews almost weekly. I think the agency is still looking for nurses to work in Cork, Limerick, Sligo, Galway and South Tipperary.
