I am a registered nurse in the Philippines and now working as an Intensive Care Unit Nurse here in Saudi Arabia for almost two years.
I am planning to move my nursing career further in Ireland. I have paid the €350 assessment fee with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI) and the accounts department already provided me with a pin and advised me to wait for the delivery of my application pack.
The assessment fee was processed since April 17, 2015. I just wonder about how long it would take me to receive the application pack here in Saudi Arabia.
I hope that someone could help me. I'm so excited to process my application for Registration with NMBI.
Hi guys! Im just new here and same case as yours applying for registration in Ireland. Just want to share my timeline with you:
December 13- submitted my form to request an application pack
December 21- I got charged the 350euro application fee
Since it was Christmas holiday, there were some delays to receive the application pack
January 13- I received the application pack in the mail then then started to fill out the section 1. All other sections were submitted to the designated authorities like school, employer and prc.
January 23- NMBI received my section 1
January 26- NMBI received the one from my employer
February 3- NMBI received my CCPS
February 6- NMBI received the forms from my school
I called NMBI after a week to make a ff up since there were still in outstanding status when all forms were delivered successfully and they said it usually takes 10-15bd for my account to get updated.
February 20- my NMBI account's status was changed to "assessment" stage
March 2- my account has changed to "decision pending" and was advised that assessment is done and the d/l will be mailed to me shortly
While waiting for NMBI to process my application, I also looked for an employer. I found Kate Cowhig Agency who's based in Ireland. They are really helpful and will assist you from completing the papers up to the interview. Luckily, I passed the interview with one of the government hospitals and offered me a job when they went here in MLA last month. In God's timing everything is possible! Goodluck to all of us :)

Congrats! Regarding your grad programme? Do you really have an MS/MAN degree? :)
I called NMBI today and got the chance to speak to *****. I told him i never had any post grad education. He told me as well that technicalky my only outstanding document is the ccps (my us licence verification) and once received everything will be updated.

Hello everyone. As of today, my nmbi account has been updated. The only outstanding document now is my ccps. Theyve removed my grad programme and name change doc already. Thank God! Yesterday, I got a reply from my email back in february regarding my issue with grad program and name change doc and she told me it has been attended already and corrected... I hope my ccps from new york will arrived this week coz I know it would take another 2 weeks before NMBI make any updates on our account...
I am on my 1 month and 6 days of waiting. First document was received back in February 8. So far so good.... :-)

Hello! Just like you, I've been doing this NMBI application alone.
So far NMBI is being honest when they say they will send the pack right after they deduct the 350 euros. Your main problem would be your local post office. Based on my history. NMBI sent my pack Jan 4 and it reached the Philippines around January 16. HOWEVER my local post office is not doing their job so it took me over a month to retrieve my package. I went to the main receiving office in Pasay via PHLPOST but they will tell you that they cant monitor the package because ours are sent via free post which doesnt have any tracking number. I ran back and forth just to retrieve mine.
To immediately receive the package, your address should be correct and your local post office should be informed so they can immediately send it to you. I understand what you feel and even though most of us here have started the application we are still anxious LOL. I think it'll help if we give NMBI a time allowance of 1 month so we wouldnt all get crazy (cos I am going crazy) ha ha!
thanks hehe Hopefully with God's help I will receive my application pack soon without any problems. Im located here in the province so I will probably experience some delays. I hope NMBI will take advantage of the present technology by allowing applicants to apply via the Internet in the future

Yes. NMBI updated it all at once. Try checking it again today as mine has been changed to "review pending" just now. I hope yours too.
