Hi everyone,
I am a registered nurse in the Philippines and now working as an Intensive Care Unit Nurse here in Saudi Arabia for almost two years.
I am planning to move my nursing career further in Ireland. I have paid the €350 assessment fee with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI) and the accounts department already provided me with a pin and advised me to wait for the delivery of my application pack.
The assessment fee was processed since April 17, 2015. I just wonder about how long it would take me to receive the application pack here in Saudi Arabia.
I hope that someone could help me. I'm so excited to process my application for Registration with NMBI.
Thanks.
As a friendly advice, makeup your mind on your choice of country. As long as you are half minded you cant really focus, especially on IELTS. And on the job, there is an available job as long as you are eligible to become a nurse in Ireland. Also, the application package isn't your priority right now. Spend your time and energy for your IELTS exam and everything will follow through.
Wow! Thank you so much!
Hi,I received my d/l with adaptation requirement.
I hv not yet find an example yet..Pls anyone can suggest a easy way to find an employer who accept my adaptation requirement.
Try to send an email to [email protected] ; that's the direct hr email of st. Vincent's.. Or try applying to NurseIreland, just search their website. I guess you still have to undergo an employer's interview.
Thanks...Is it possible to change the agent after received my d/l. ( original d/l is still with agent)As of now no positive feedback from my agent and not yet schedule any interview.
Oh. I'm not really sure if you can change agent but the adaptation program is as good as your certificate of sponsorship, and you'll be needing that from your agent so you could also get your visa from the embassy. What do you mean by your original DL?
Hi Jerry. If youre from the philippines, you can add this group called 2nd generation of filipino nurses in ireland. They have about 19 nurses whom they have helped find an employer with an assistance from an agency based there. Theyre very helpful, but adaptive is relstively a legit agency. Theyre the ones calling nmbi to follow up whats going on with my papers and updating me. So employer first who will take you in for adaptation. And i have not heard of unsuccessful stories after an adaptation.
