I am a registered nurse in the Philippines and now working as an Intensive Care Unit Nurse here in Saudi Arabia for almost two years.
I am planning to move my nursing career further in Ireland. I have paid the €350 assessment fee with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI) and the accounts department already provided me with a pin and advised me to wait for the delivery of my application pack.
The assessment fee was processed since April 17, 2015. I just wonder about how long it would take me to receive the application pack here in Saudi Arabia.
I hope that someone could help me. I'm so excited to process my application for Registration with NMBI.
I came across this posts since I am also planning to apply in Ireland. I am currently under an agency here in the Philippines. I really want to start the process of submitting the overseas registration application form. But, they told me to wait for further advice since my papers are for assessment. I know that it usually takes 2 weeks before the pack arrives. So, would it be much better if I start sending it to NMBI directly?Has anyone here started the process even without an agency?
Also, if I will send it via courier, do I really have to specify NON EU NURSE APPLICANT FOR IRELAND?Or just simply send the application form directly on their address?...

Its really up to you whether you would want to process it on your own or through an agency. NMBI have a disclaimer anyway that says that processing time is just the same whether you're a direct applicant or going through an agency. Its just that when you're with an agency, you can ask them for things that can be quite confusing.
For your 2nd question, its stated on the form that it should be posted to:
Registration Department, NMBI..... then the address.
Hi sir aclyne.. Can you please also send to me the sample application pack from nmbi? I'm also planning to get the services of Wisearch and I'm still trying to extract some positive feedbacks about them since the agency is uk based and I don't know someone to talk with regarding their credibility and quite hesitant to give my full trust because the needed money is not that small...May I know sir aclyne what is your application status and how long have you been sent your papers to them? As to the status of my application, I already my full application pack and have filled out those fields that are intended for me to fill. Hopefully i will send my section 1 by first week of November.

Can anyone help me here to secure my good standing certificate from saudi arabia ?, i have been requesting for i for how many months now but my friend in saudi arabia find it hard to pay for it thru ATM. They have tried everything but it seems like nothings happening. My application pack already arrive but my saudi council good standing is not yet available until now.
How long does the application pack usually arrive? Is it usually 2 weeks after sending the registration form or more? I hope a kind soul could send me a soft copy of the application pack at [email protected]. Also I am reporting to a physician and not to a director of nursing.Should our physician write a letter to NMBI why I'm not reporting to a Director of Nursing or should I be the one who must explain it? I believe I must attached a letter to Form B/Employment Reference Form explaining why I am not reporting to a Director of Nursing/Nurse Manager/Matron. By the way guys, nurses in Ireland who are working in nursing homes are reporting to Matrons. Thanks.

As what i've been told it usually arrives two weeks after they receive the application request form though I received mine within 1 to 2 weeks.
Form B should be filled out by the physician whom you're reporting to and then there is a field on the second page of that form where your physician will explain why you are reporting to him/her instead of those who are specified by NMBI.
