Hi everyone,
I am a registered nurse in the Philippines and now working as an Intensive Care Unit Nurse here in Saudi Arabia for almost two years.
I am planning to move my nursing career further in Ireland. I have paid the €350 assessment fee with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI) and the accounts department already provided me with a pin and advised me to wait for the delivery of my application pack.
The assessment fee was processed since April 17, 2015. I just wonder about how long it would take me to receive the application pack here in Saudi Arabia.
I hope that someone could help me. I'm so excited to process my application for Registration with NMBI.
Thanks.
Hi aclynejp, RN, thanks for the reply!Hmmmm. It seems your agent is really sweating it out to make your processing seamless. Gem, the one who started the thread is processing her papers since April 2015. That's about 7 months now. I don't know if she processed her papers through NurseIreland and if she hastily worked with her papers but the timing is just taking so long.
They do! I got delayed because of my Birth Certificate coming from the Philippines so I was only able to post my Section 1 and Form B (from current employer) last week but NMBI will be getting those this week. If ever mine will take more than six months then that's definitely my bad.
To give every aspiring NMBI applicants, I got an email from my agency yesterday about an applicant from the Philippines that will be landing in Dublin this month. My agency and the applicant took less than six months to complete the whole process. Including getting a Job Offer from an employer to visa processing.
Hey aclynejp, RN,What's the name of your agency again? Wow, that's absolutely great news!
Im with Wisesearch UK.
Hello, admin is right. For your immediate family, you can apply for family re-unification once you finish adaptation which normally takes about 6weeks dependin on your performance. My husband and I are both nurses and just waiting for our decision letter. We have a 1 yr old son which we plan to bring once we complete the adaptation. Good luck to all of us!
I think it really depends on the agency. I've read in some forum that the normal processing takes 90 days. My husband and I got our registration packs last July, I completed the requirements Sept 7 while my husband completed his around Octber. But because some of my documents went missing, i have to re-submitted them again. Thats why its really impt to keep all the tracking numbers. Now both of us are in the assessment stage. My agency updates us evry now and then about our applications.
hi aclynejp, RN
would you mind sending me the details of pack 1 and 2 as well? Here's my email [email protected] Anyone here tried the aptitude test? My aunt told me that depending on the outcome of your initial registration in Ireland, you can either take the adaptation programme or the aptitude test which consists of two parts: theory and practical test which is more like the cbt and osce tests of UK!
Hi guys. I am a Filipino registered nurse currently working as a dialysis nurse in Jeddah, KSA for almost a year now, my contract will finish on Dec 2016. I am interested in working in Ireland after my contract, luckily I came across with this forum which gave me an idea in NMBI registration.
Can anyone be kind enough in sending the soft copy of application pack? Once I'm done with IELTS I will start my application there. Thank you so much. I am hoping for your positive and helpful response guys.
This is my email address : [email protected] . God bless all the nurses here!
