Hi everyone,
I am a registered nurse in the Philippines and now working as an Intensive Care Unit Nurse here in Saudi Arabia for almost two years.
I am planning to move my nursing career further in Ireland. I have paid the €350 assessment fee with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI) and the accounts department already provided me with a pin and advised me to wait for the delivery of my application pack.
The assessment fee was processed since April 17, 2015. I just wonder about how long it would take me to receive the application pack here in Saudi Arabia.
I hope that someone could help me. I'm so excited to process my application for Registration with NMBI.
Thanks.
hi!
I came across this posts since I am also planning to apply in Ireland. I am currently under an agency here in the Philippines. I really want to start the process of submitting the overseas registration application form. But, they told me to wait for further advice since my papers are for assessment. I know that it usually takes 2 weeks before the pack arrives. So, would it be much better if I start sending it to NMBI directly?Has anyone here started the process even without an agency?
Also, if I will send it via courier, do I really have to specify NON EU NURSE APPLICANT FOR IRELAND?Or just simply send the application form directly on their address?...
Thanks a lot for the reply!!!
Hello. @gema_estayo
yeees maam. I am still waiting for my application pack. Im on my first month of waiting and keeping in contact with serviecon. I am still waiting for emails from NurseIreland. Hehehe. Im a bit worried now because im unemployed. Made a wrong move. Yet im still hopeful that i would make it in ireland. Got any soft copy for application forms? So that i could prepare myself. Hehehe. Thaaaanks maam. Cheers!
I'm with Wise. We both made sure that the NMBI will accept my IELTS UKVI Academic exam results before I go on ahead with my application and thankfully they do. So I'm not sure what's the basis of that agency as to why they won't entertain applicants with IELTS UKVI. If I may suggest it would be better to look for another agency that doesn't have that kind of a rule.
Greetings Sir! Are you talking about Wise? As in Wisearch Solutions UK Ltd, based in London? Thanks for the response. Well appreciated.:)
Good day everyone!
I am also planning to start my NMBI application. Would somebody be kind enough to send me a soft copy of the application form? I would like to review the forms in advance. Thank you!
My email address is: [email protected]
Me as well. I need to preview this application pack. Any soft copy guys???
my email is [email protected]
thanks for the help. Hi @acissej
i am not so sure with the charges for the credit card maam. Sorry.
How about the form B for the employer ? Did you use the official stamp of the hospital or from the person who signed it? I am also confused with nurse matron; is it equivalent to our nurse supervisor or head nurse?
Just to be on the safe side here, its stated on that form that it should be completed by the following: Director of Nursing/Midwifery, Matron, Nurse/Midwife Manager. If you're not reporting to anyone of those you can explain it. There's a field in there for that. Again, im just trying to play safe here. You can also check with your agency they might have a better suggestion.
Hi,I have just received the Application pack. I'd like to ask for assistance from those who have knowledge or is in the same situation as mine.
I have a callcenter experience of a year and 2 months in between my 2 nursing employments.
On Section 1 question # 8 - Professional Experience, I am not suppose to include any experience not related to my nursing profession
and I just need to explain this on # 9 - GAP explanation.
Am I doing it correctly?
Thanks!
Yes, that's right. I did the same with mine.

Hi @KeyBean. I am with NurseIreland. Did you apply through Serviecon agency here in the Philippines. NurseIreland is there corresponding agency in Ireland.
I am already on the 3rd month in waiting for my decision letter. Last Sept 29, NMBI asked some explanation about my work experience via e-mail and said that they will be sending my files for assessment after receiving the explanation being asked. So far, the staff of NurseIreland has been helpful. í ½í¸ƒ
