I'm assuming they may send out rejection letters tomorrow.. Since I did not receive an acceptance email, I should prepare for a rejection letter

I was accepted to NJCU cohort yesterday!!! I spent all day and most of the night just excited and at the same time worried!! I will have a 1-month old baby by the time I start the program, so I am already feeling the separation anxiety!! Lol This is exciting, since my application wasn't even verified until a week and a half ago! I thought I wasn't even going to be considered haha. I feel so blessed. Really, I am so so happy.

I recieved the email acceptance and was shocked, because I didn't even know we would get an email. I thought it was coming through the mail. I was waiting for a letter and almost fell off my chair when I saw the email!!!

congrats to everyone who was accepted!!! And to those still waiting, I'm praying for you!!!

So happy for everyone who was accepted to both cohorts! I'm sure more people will be joining and posting over the next few days/weeks so congratulations to them as well!

For those who were waitlisted or rejected -- Absolutely do not give up. I was waitlisted last year, gained some experience as a medical scribe, retook a class, improved my HESI score, and had my essay looked at by about 7 people before I submitted it. I wish everyone the best of the luck and encourage you to keep pursuing your dream! :up:

:-( Ahhh disappointed did not get accepted for JC cohort. Best wishes to everyone accepted to NJCU and everyone moving along to other programs. Perhaps our paths will cross in the future. Take care!

hey guys. I got accepted to the JC campus as well! I've been lurking this site for a while and decided to finally join. This thread seems to have died down a little, especially compared to last year. So I'm going to try to stir it up a little..

- did they cash in your deposit yet? The 4/15 deadline is coming up and I want to make sure they dont give my seat away. (even though they said not to contact them about it and they will give a courtesy phone call if they haven't received anything from you before then)

- is there a way to find out what books we need beforehand from last year's people? I'm going to try to read ahead this summer because this 12 month program is no joke!

- is it sad that aside from getting accepted to JC since it was my top choice, I am most excited about the free ipad mini?

Hi MurseM15!!! I didn't even know anything about a free iPad haha. This is the first time I hear of it.

i was wondering the same thing!! I wanted to buy the books ahead of time to start reading. And I just checked an hour ago to see if they cashed my deposit. I haven't seen anything yet. I am worried too that my seat will be given away. Usually, programs let you know that the deposit has been recieved, so I'm kind of just stressing here thinking they never got it.

well, congrats on your acceptance! Hope we get some sort of confirmation :)
