NJBON: Please help ease my mind about the ATT process???...

Hi & Good luck to All!

I have a question about receiving the ATT...I live in NJ, I graduated 2/11...School sent all paperwork and BON have received the application 5/11. Only thing that wasnt done was paying Pearson Vue. I had to clear up some past issues(SCHOOL BILL)

before I was able to test, I chose to not pay until those issues were resolved(a lil tight on money).

So my question is: I just paid Pearson Vue the $200, I registered my email.... now I would like to know how long it takes to receive my ATT?

BTW, I didnt have to do the fingerprints because I was fingerprinted from the Board 2yrs prior...Also checked on my State's BON website and it says "pending" as my license status...

PLEASE HELP! I'm nervous :-/

Did you submit the background check papers and fee? You don't need to be fingerprinted again but you do need a repeat background check. Pending status of your license has nothing to do with your ATT only when your application is completely processed & license is issued. Pending just means that your data was entered into the computer.

Call the Board of Nursing to check on the status of your ATT, they have a call center staff that can give you the status of your application. They were very helpful when I called.

Hello BeachyNurse,

I sent a m/o (25.50) along with the application to the BON. I called last week and they said all I had to do was pay Pearson Vue once I got the fund$...now that i paid Pearson Vue(this morning) what will happen next? Will I get something from the BON or Pearson Vue?

You will get an emailed letter from Pearson Vue with your ATT letter attached. There will be a link in the email so that you log into pearson vue and schedule the test. Check your SPAM folder as some of my classmates almost missed their ATT letter becuase it was directed there (only those who used hotmail & Yahoo though) My emails all came from the same address that my receipt for registration came from. I'd say give it a day or so for the 'puters to talk to each other and issue your ATT

I didnt know it would be here that fast, some of my classmates said that waited almost 3wks....oh well I'll be patient and continue to study...Thanks again!

I agree with JustBeachyNurse. I am in NJ and am waiting for my "paper" license. I found my ATT in the spam folder! It took a couple of weeks because the state was backed up. Good Luck!:)
