The thing is if they have no application from you there is no reason to keep any stuff that you have organised to go to them you may have to organise again for things to be sent

i already asked my school and our licensing agency to send the necessary documents to cgfns a few months ago..

And sorry, but I am shaking my head at this point. What are they supposed to do with the items if you have never sent in the application for the CES and paid the fee for it?

They are under no obligation to even hold onto the items, no application,a and there is no binding contract between the two of you. You are going to be very lucky if they have kept the items.

This just makes no sense at all. And for anyone else reading here, without an application as well as payment, no company has to do anything on your behalf.

If the English is a requirement for CGFNS to release the CES, or even process your application, why in the world would you not want to get the requirements done first?

You need to start with step one and then proceed from there, not backwards as you have been doing.

May I offer a suggestion?

And that would be to read the Primer at the top of this forum to find out the information that you truly need to have, and is apparent that you are not aware of. It would make it easier on everyone else involved.

But my next question would be is if you have taken and passed the NLE? You are going to need that in most cases, and not sure if you have taken it already at this point in time.

Is IELTS as binding as TOEFL?? because i've only taken IELTS...

What do you mean by binding??

In most instances you only need one English exam to be passed and what is accepted depends on whom you will give it to as some prefer TOEFL, some prefer IELTS while some accepts either one.

Start by reading the sticky called Primer to working in the USA. You are applying to be a RN in the US not the exam. NCLEX is just a part of that process. Also suggest a good read on retrogression as you will be affected and also look at which state you want to work as that will be the BON you apply to . We do have one state we do not recommend for initial licensure application California as much has already been written about that so try the search facility and read up about that. Average application processing time is 4-6 months so one that ball is rolling suggest you check out the NCLEX forum under the student tab

I have plans of taking the NCLEX exam for NJ which is why I have procured my NCLEX forms already. But I wish to ask about the second element for licensure written in the form which is "Proof that the applicant has achieved a passing score on TOEFL exam". You see, I've already taken my IELTS and passed last year. I was wondering if I could use it instead of TOEFL?? Or do I still have to take the TOEFL exam?

Thank you in advance..

This is probably something you need to discuss with the BON direct, they at the end of the day make the final decision.

There are no NCLEX forms, you are applying for licensure to a state BON and need their permission to sit for the exam. There is absolutely no reason what so ever to file or register with Pearson-Vue at this time. Worst thing that you can do.

You are going to need to contact the BON directly. And since you are asking this, it means that you have not had the CES completed and that is a requirement as well.

Is the Verification of English Proficiency for licensure my TRF??? If it is, must i give the original copy or can it be just a photocopy of it??
