Hi everyone,

I just wanted to ask if anyone knows how long it takes to get your RN license after passing the NCLEX.

I took the NCLEX the 29th and I still haven't received my license :(

NJ takes 4-8 weeks post NCLEX to issue a license (sometimes as few as 3) all licensed must be approved by board committee once NCLEX & full background check complete. You probably have another 7-10 days since there was also the Labor Day holiday in between

Okay, Thanks for the info...I will try to be more patient.

Please pm me how long it took the board to approve your application in order to get ATT?they now ask for things not on the application.

Ask for things like what? It takes 4-6 weeks for the NJBoN to review an application and issue an ATT via Pearson Vue then mail out the required finger print/background check forms. You can take the NCLEX before your background check is received but your application will not be reviewed for licensing until your file , including state & federal background checks, is complete.
