UMDNJ University hospital in Newark has one I believe, for IV. UMDNJ - School of Nursing | but it seems both May & June are filled
I didn't want to make the trip to Newark (I live in way way way up - North Jersey). CCM (Community College of Morris) offers an IV Cert course. It was difficult to find on the website, so I called. 1 day and done! The professor was very nice and knowledgeable and the class was small, I think there were only 12 of us.
Good Luck!

How much was the class?
There is no such statement from the State Board of Nursing in New Jersey that says an online course is invalid. Please provide a link on where you get this information. Many nurses take online IV education courses and the employer performs the skills competency varification. Online education is a great way to obtain infusion education.

My coworker and I are both RNs. We work in an Office-Based Surgery setting and see patients for both office visits and procedures with anesthesia. We have been seeing an increased need for us to start IVs or draw blood and would like to become certified/take a course. Does anyone know of any classes in NJ? Specifically Northern NJ if possible..Thanks!
