Hi there! Just wanted to get in conctact with other applicants who are applying to the Scholar Practioner Program at Nipissing University.
We could use this thread to talk about different components of the application.
Cheers :)
Hi @ltruong! So for the first three weeks of every semester we are in classes at the building where you guys had your interview, and then after that it depends on what hospital or organization you are placed at for the 9 weeks, and then during the last week you are back downtown for a reflection week. For the 9 weeks at your placement you could be downtown, in Mississauga, North York, or somewhere else in the GTA. Once a week you will be downtown for a reflection seminar with your faculty advisor though which will be in the mornings. Most of the people in my year live in the GTA, with some of us living in downtown Toronto (I do!), and others commuting from 1-2 hours away.

Hi! Thanks for all this info, it clarified a few things for me. :)
I've actually been pretty good and have let WebAdvisor be at the back on my mind.. I'll start checking it more in April ahaha or else I would go insane! Update here if you hear back or anything!
I agree with you, I'm just trying not to panic about results yet as it may take some time... Best of luck to all of us! Also, it was nice meeting you for a short period of time :)

Hey everyone, just caught up with all the comments. I had my interview on March 12th as well. I think it went OK? lol
I was just wondering, if you are placed in a public health setting - are you most likely to be in Mississauga, North York, etc? Do you find the locations easy to get to by transit? Thanks!
It was short but I think it went ok! Not sure how high my chances are since it seems quite competitive this year. Hopefully I'll at least hear something from them soon though :)
I'm sure it went well! You looked very put together on your interview day! Have faith in yourself, things always go the way the need to go. Have a good day :)
Hi @Tasha0117, if you you are placed at TPH, you could be placed anywhere in the GTA, though they do try and take your location into account. Transit has been somewhat tricky this past year because of the work they have been doing on the subway, but Toronto has a lot of options for transit so we're lucky in that way! I'm placed at SickKids so I'm only repeating what I have heard from hear say.
