Hello,
I am applying for Nightingale College, hoping to start on January 9th for their BSN program.
So far the admission process is going smoothly for me, I am taking the entrance exam today.
I'm wondering if anyone else is doing the same or are alumni from there and have anything they'd like to share about this school. ?

Do you have to get all 25 questions right in order to proceed to the next one. Does this mean I wouldn’t continue with the MDC testing. . I’m worried, just missed one by typo. Please let me know who to contact if possible.
Thank you all
Hi, Yes you had to have gotten all 25 questions correct in order to proceed.

I'm hoping to start 1/2023 as well.
I'm from Sacramento, and a little nervous about this whole process with the out of state college thing; but I can't waste any more time jumping through rings of fire to get into a school here in CA.
Anyone wants to keep in touch or talk:
Hi Kristie,
Don't be nervous. This has been such an awesome experience for me and my classmates so far. It's the best decision that we ever have made for ourselves!

Hi. Was the terms offered consecutively through the year. I want to get it done and a lot of the programs take a semester off. I have all my prereqs so I don't know if their sample curriculum is set in stone, or if you can take core nursing courses whenever as long as prior required courses are completed

Hi! Could you tell me if their courses run throughout the year? I would really be able to go without Summer breaks. I already did all prerequisites and general education courses, and I did not know if they had a set curriculum. I applied at a college and their curriculum was set in stone for the program with prerequisites intermixed with nursing courses. If you had it completed, you just had less classes that semester so just wondering if it was different at nightingale. Thank you!
Is anyone starting the Spring 2023 BSN program from California? Does anyone know if we can sit for the board or there are any extra classes we need to take before we can take the NCLEX in California?
All responses much appreciated and good luck! My email is [email protected] if anyone would prefer to email me directly

Hi,
Yes. Nightingale semesters run all year. Including Summer! Excluding the new year of course as we are all off until January 9th, 2023.

Sarah,
You can sit for the boards in California. There are no "extra" hidden classes. Everything is put in writing when you speak to your advisor.
Hope this helps.

Yes , you can take your NCLEX in California and obtain your CA RN license but from what I gathered from previous post , you need to have Microbiology with labs before you’re eligible to sit for NCLEX in CA

Hi everyone, I’m having difficulty scheduling my HESI with Examity so I’m wondering since Nightingale could also proctored the HESI exam, I might have take the HESI (fundamentals) with them. However, I want to know if anyone had taken this route before and if so what’s the difference? I know nightingale proctoring is free while Examity is not. Other than this difference, does it affect the content or outcome of my test? If you have any idea , please do share. I appreciate all your contributions.
PS: If anyone is starting January 9, 2023 and lives in California, will like to connect with you if you don’t mind. I really would like to speak to someone who is already a student or prospective student. My email is [email protected]
Thanks
