Nightingale College Spring 2023

Hello, 

I am applying for Nightingale College, hoping to start on January 9th for their BSN program. 

So far the admission process is going smoothly for me, I am taking the entrance exam today.

I'm wondering if anyone else is doing the same or are alumni from there and have anything they'd like to share about this school. ?

Actually those are really good scores.  You'll just have to remediate which is not that bad (so I hear) alot of my classmates had to remediate at some point in med-surg; so don't feel bad.  I think if you wanted to retake it, you can? but If you do you'll have to retake everything as a whole.  Just remediate and move forward.

Hello,

I am doing pretty well. The process has been pretty smooth. I have to finalize a few things such as speak with the FASFA department, to determine how much I will be granted for a 2nd Bachelors. I'm scheduled to take the Accuplacer this Saturday @ 2pm.  I'm overly nervous because I'm not a good test taker. I've been studying the material, so I hope I do well.  Even if I have to take the remedial classes, I'll be just fine with that. I just need to score high enough to get accepted. I'm shooting for a score of 260 fingers crossed ?. Nighingale is the perfect school for me. I have been on this nursing journey for some time now. I did not go the scenic route, but I refuse to give up on my dreams. This school allows students who have repeated courses, to enter their program, and not turn them away from past mistakes. I'm looking forward to returning to this message board with good news!

Awesome!  Try not to stress, what you know is what you know taking the Accuplacer.  Try not to overthink things and you'll be fine.

Also, Mandy those scores are great! Good Job! How was the exam overall? Do you feel it was identical to the practice exams that were given from the advisor?

Wow! 8months. I wish to be in your shoes ?. How long have you been doing this program? I have mine would be about 2years

Hi, 

I took my accuplacer yesterday my scores were -math 268 -writing 249 reading -236 . So I didn’t pass. I just knew I was going pass ?.

Thank you. The scores are good but I think the cut off is 260 for everything. Nevertheless, I am good to go. I would take the writing lab in the first semester.

You did well. What do you want to do? Retake or go with the writing lab in the first semester? Just speak to you exam advisor and see what he or she says. I wish you the best

Hi everyone, just finished my module 1 MDC , I missed one after the  3 attempts. Do you have to get all 25 questions right in order to proceed to the next one. Does this mean I wouldn’t continue with the MDC testing. . I’m worried, just missed one by typo. Please let me know who to contact if possible.
