Hello,
I am applying for Nightingale College, hoping to start on January 9th for their BSN program.
So far the admission process is going smoothly for me, I am taking the entrance exam today.
I'm wondering if anyone else is doing the same or are alumni from there and have anything they'd like to share about this school. ?

I'm going to take the entrance exam this week! I hope it's not too difficult. I'm applying as an LVN with a few prereqs.
My biggest concern is getting approved for the loans. ?

Hi! The entrance exam wasn't super hard but it did take me a while because I second guessed myself a lot. The math wasn't too difficult, it was mostly multiplying and dividing decimals, and fractions. The reading and writing portion, was pretty straight forward, where you read passages, and then correct errors in them.
I was able to pass with above 260 for math and reading, however for writing I made it in the 250 range, so I will have to take a writing course.
I was using the study guides they provided us in our emails and watching Youtube videos as my resources. My weak point is in math so that was mainly what I focused on. In hindsight I probably could have studied harder with writing questions.

Good luck! I am also applying as an LVN with some prereqs done. I really hope it brings down the price. ?

I just finished the 1st semester. I made Honor Roll ? The process has been amazing from start to now. Passing the entrance exam with no remediation, passing pharmacology with no remediation. I tested out of every course they offered to test out of and started my 1st semester as a Junior. I just made Honor Roll; and will graduate Aug 2023. I started May 2022.
I would say study your math if you're wanting to test out of pharm. Review your notes if you're a LVN/LPN to test out of Med Surg.
Awesome job! Was the entrance exam hard? What did u study? And what other classes do they offer for u test out of?
Hi,
Entrance was easy, basic math-english-reading. I didn't study anything, that's how easy it was. Testing out of classes depends on your pre-requisites.

That's amazing, congratulations! Did you transfer in pre-reqs also? What classes did you test out of? They mentioned to me I could test out of math and another course with a CLEP.
Thanks! I transferred in ALOT of pre-req's. I also tested out of:
205, 215, 225, 246, 266 and used my LVN for 24 additional credits.
FYI: I'm taking the max units every semester (16 units) to graduate faster. Total amount of time spent will be under 15 months (with vacation time and the week in-between semesters that we take off.)

Nice~ I am on the same boat now~ I am an LVN and passed all HESIs before program starts. 4 semesters~ around 35k ~ such a good deal comparing what we have in Bay Area.
