Ok this is not night shift vs. day shift, kinda:D
I just wanna know different names that you have heard given to each shift!
I have heard night shift being called vampires , night crawlers, children of the night!
I have heard day shift being called... Well I don't know really!
Give some good ones peoples
One word for day shifters "CRAZY!"
i hate day shift, i'm NOT a morning person. I don't mind the business of it. i just hate it being that crazy even before the sun comes up. I hate waking up early and pretending to have to be "Jolly and happy to be at work" because the truth of the matter is, i am a freaking BEAR!!!! in the mornings. Aint no smilin from this nurse at 0700.
moved to our nurse colleague / patient relations forum..carry on

Boy, can I relate :) Even now, with no need to stay up (on disability, so no mandatory wake up times), I'm usually up all night. I just fuction better. With Wally World open 24/7 and another grocery store open, and mail order, I'm set The dumpster is open all night, the gas station is open, if I get really crazy there's Denny's or IHOP
But mostly, I'm just up surfing the net, here, or FB. Wake me up before noon, and I'm one grouchy buzzard
Tell me to be somewhere at 2 am and I'm good to go :)
This is a cool topic and right up my alley:)
Where I work we, the night shift, tend to call ourselves night owls and we call the day shift daywalkers or....of course....like someone said earlier...."female dogs"...ya know....the B word...aka....the "B****" shift ( cuz they all think they are Gods & know everything)....where I work.
