Stony Brook Nursing Basic BSN Fall 2013 applicants

Hey guys! So I just applied to the SBU Basic (2 year) program a couple of days ago. I thought it would be nice to start a forum. Feel free to ask any questions! And good luck to all who are applying!!!

The waiting game is killing me! Stony Brook is my top choice and from what I've read will be the last school I hear from :( May seems so far away lol I recently got accepted into Drexel's 3-year BSN program (w/ one co-op) but I really want stony brook. What other schools have everyone applied to? I applied to Binghamton, Drexel, NYU, Thomas Jefferson and Stony Brook.

As anyone tried calling them to find out when decisions will be made? I can't make long distance calls or else I would do it. (Can you believe Long Island is considered long distance??). I applied to LIU, CNR, PBISON, and MEC in addition to Stony B.

actually yeah , is it appropriate action to make a phone call and ask aprx when the result will be posted ?

I applied to NYU also. Beautiful school, But so expensive! Hopefully SBU takes the pressure off of us.

I am in New York City College of Tech (CUNY) and tomorrow my first test Fundamental of Nursing, zzzzz ://

but I really wanna go stony brook and cant wait the result for admission...

wow I didn't realize you were already in a Nursing Program. That's exciting even if it's not your first choice school.

My priority is time ... I didn't miss a semester Justin case if I can't get sbu. So that reason I started to cuny but I am def leave program if sbu accept me ..

I understand. Did you try calling them to see when acceptance letters would go out?

yes I just callled now and they told me that end of the March the result will be send,,,

That sounds amazing .. almost 3 week later ..

I work at stony brook and nursing students do clinicals on my unit, ....I asked one of them yesterday when she got her letter of acceptance, she said April .... So hopefully end of march / beginning in April it is!
