New York Presbyterian/Columbia (NYP Email) New Grad

I got an email yesterday from NYP/Columbia that I am selected as a "top candidate" and can skip the meet and greet and go to an interview with Nurse Leaders in June. Has anyone else received this now or in the past and could provide advice? I know the process is long being hired at such a premier hospital. Just wondering if anyone could give me some insight.

Oh, you interviewed last Tuesday. I thought you interviewed on the 9th. You should receive an email early next week.

I believe it means there is no position for you right now, but they are keeping you on "file" for future applications. In a year when you get experience, and you apply at NYP, they will already have all your information.

Thanks. I guess that goes for future consideration being listed next to a department as well.

I dont know anyone else who has gotten an offer. Either they are hiring an extremely small amount of people, or they are not done deciding who they want to give an official offer to. I hope someone else gets an offer so we can get a drink! :)

I got that email the next day and my status updated to future consideration for both the event and one of the units I interviewed with.
