VEEB LPN Program (info request)

U.S.A. New York

Published

Hi All,

I'll be starting at VEEB in the Fall and was wondering if there are any current or past VEEB students that can give some info on this program.

What are the Teachers like?

What are the required books?

Is the program as intense as they say?

Do they have articulation agreements with other nursing (RN) programs? If so, with who?

Are there any disadvantages in taking the LPN course outside of a Community College setting?

Do they provide job Placement at the end???

Any information that ANYONE can provide will be GREATLY appreciated! I really want to have a full understanding of what I'm in for. I have 2 year old Twins and I am a little worried about whether or not I'll be able to juggle school/studying and Family!

I am unable to attend the physical on Saturday. So I made an appointment with the Dr. that does all of VEEB physicals. and went a couple of days earlier.......

Oh ok. I thought whatever day and time they gave you is when you had to go.

your lucky, i just realized my physical is june 19 @ 8am, thats early!

I completed my physical examination this morning. Next is Orientation on the 29th :-)

Hi cayes,

If you go back to page 206 you can find out about some of the books that VEEB uses. I hope it helps.

Thank you, you have been very helpful

This is to all who have not received an acceptance letter:

After my family and friends had convinced me to finally call VEEB and to find out what was going on......well I finally did ......and the lady happened to be very polite. I asked her....What happenes to the ones that have passed their entrance exam and handed in their references BUT DO NOT get accepted, and she told me that we would be considered to be on a waiting list and that we are able to take the test first next year and we do NOT have to pay for the test again, and as long as we pass the test we are GUARANTEED a seat for September 2011. She also informed me that their is STILL a chance that after the end of this month there is a possiblity that some more acceptance letters can be sent out (I think she was referring to the bridge program), and that we will defintely know something by the middle of JULY. Well I hope this helps anyone out there that is in the same boat as I am. Good Luck to all that were accepted and to the ones who are still trying to get in. :)

Went to the SNYA'S information session today. It turned out okay. They are NOT funding VEEB's full tuition this year, not even half ($4900 to be exact)! I guess that's better then nothing tho. :\ Anyway, I was able to meet a current student at VEEB who will be graduating in August and boy did she give me a nice run down of what to expect starting September! Looks like we're in for many sleepless nights lolololol Good luck all. See u guys Tuesday. :)

Let me guess, for $4,900.00 we have to give them 2 years?
