New York NCLEX-RN retest step

I am wondering for the NY NCLEX-RN retest step as I have failed the first exam since Aug 2013, and now I would like to retest again. I have seen some articles stated that there is no need to reapply in New York Board of Nursing. Also, I do not know what should I do as the first step until the end of retest procedure. If anyone could help me, I really appreciate for the kindness. Please advice me as my wondering point below once.

- First step, I have to reapply in Pearson Vue for 200$ without reapply in New York Board of Nursing?

- For reapply in Pearson Vue Website, I have to choose at the button of Register and pay for 200$, am I right?

- Second step, I have to wait for ATT from Pearson Vue after I reapply in Pearson Vue? (I just suspect who will send me the ATT? Is it Pearson Vue?)

- After get the ATT, what step should I have to do next?

Pearsonvue will not issue AT&T without BON approval and once att issued just arrange sitting exam. I know I didn't have to reapply to NY when it happened to me as long as it was done within 5 years

No u just wait for your att then when u receive it u can schedule your exam. The state have to give u the authorization to test. Pearsonvue is where u schedule to test. Once u apply to the board one time u don't have to again.
