Welcome to Dayton!

I'm only a nursing student, but I have friends, relatives and acquaintances here who are nurses. Miami Valley Hospital, Good Samaritan Hospital and Kettering Hospital are three of the top hospitals in the area. There are other very good ones as well.

What is your specialty? Maybe the selection could be narrowed down with some additional information from you?

Welcome to Ohio! :D

I'm from Dayton too. Agree with the above posters. Good Samaritan, Miami Valley, Kettering and Children's are all great hospitals. I hear that the VA medical center isn't bad either, especially for a government job.

I'm just a student & don't have "working knowledge", but I do know that I'm hoping to work at Good Sam or MVH when I graduate. :)

Hey guys, it's been a minute. I need some moral support. Im getting ready to take my Intermidiate Algebra class for the SECOND time, Im so bad at this class I cant fail it though. It's my last one before my Nursing classes. Im gettnig nervous cause it's right around the corner, I feel like Im just never gonna get through this crap-Im also hormonal cause Im pregnant. Im supposed to start it here soon and i'll be in my third trimester, do you think thats a good idea or should I wait?

I'd wait & take it next term. You'll be up to your eyeballs in baby pretty soon. Don't rush it. School will still be there after you deliver.

Thanks, you think so? I dont know how hard third trimester is, wasn't sure if it would be to much. But Im sure alot of woman have done it, maybe I should suck it up.

It's not "Bad", but it's different. You should just concentrate on yourself & your baby for right now...I would. Take care of yourself & relax. No need for getting stressed out over a class.

I know, I guess Ive just been taking these freakin math classes for so long, this is the last one and I want to get it over with and get on with it.
